I really wish the put the roll bar back in... Cuz I use Dominos and I have my loot show up in a certain place but like Bartender better

Yes, I recommend you to read addon info page carefully.

Yesterday there was no problems and now today upon logging in on any char empty buttons have a black border around them.
I can move buttons from one to another and then the border switches so it's only on empty ones.
Haven't installed any other or updated any addons since.

I love when you read your own post again that it doesn't make the same sense as it did when you wrote it.
To specify what I mean. Any empty spot on your bars will result in a black border around it which is I think 2x bigger which means the border is halfway inside the neighbouring buttons.
I hope I made more sense this time around.

Since latest patch i (warlock) have a strange problem. Everytime i zone into a dungeon my pet bar disapears, i have to put out my pet again (even if hes already out) or i have to switch off and then back on the pet bar in the bartender menu.
I dont know whats the cause of this but its anoying since sometimes i forget and then i cant use some of my pet spells.

Thats happend to me and im using defualt actionbars! So i dont think it's BT4 problem!

I recently acquired a laptop that's reasonably capable of playing WoW for solo purposes, and given that a lot of my solo time is spent using various tradeskills, I'd love to be able to copy my bartender settings over to the new machine. However, I'm not having much luck figuring out which file(s) I need to copy. If someone could tell me exactly which, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance

Just copy over a whole profile folder.
Assuming you've done it right and not have your WoW installed in Programfiles, it is "WTF" folder inside the "World of Warcraft" folder.

I just wanted to say thank you for this addon that has made my life much easier over the past few years.
Today I encountered a problem for the first time, it might be unfixable, but I want to at least have asked.

I recently bought a Cataclysm gaming mouse (SteelSeries) and now I have like 14 buttons instead of previously having like 3. So i keybound half of my old keys i used to run from my keyboard to the mouse. The issue I have now is that some stuff I exclusively run through the mouse now and some I still click so i don't want to set my bars to click-through.
Problem is that if my mouse wanders over the bars during the fight and let's say I use mouse button 8 to active something and it is currently over one of my buttons that has my flasks it will cast the ability that was keybound to button 8 + it will cause me to drink the flask.

I'm curious if there is any way to prevent that, because I have noticed that, for example, the stance bar doesn't react to any of my mousekeys except for the left one (then again if use, let's say, mouse button 4 for potions and i hover over my battle stance and use it, neither battle stance activates nor the the potion gets cast).

I've been trying to find an answer on the web to this but I can't.

I tried with some other mouses, it's the same with all. All clicks get registered as clicks on the bars if the mouse pointer is hovered over it even if they have other abilities bound to them.

I guess i'll have to make my bars clickthrough, but then again i need to be able to click certain things .... what a pickle.

To your issue, separate the things you want to see but not activate with mouse, from things you want to see, and activate with mouse.
It'll make your life much easier.

My apologies on the mixup, and yeah i figured ill have to go that way with it.

I do not have a vehicle dismount bar that I can find. I have the vehicle bar enabled, and i have tried unlocking the bars to see if it is hiding somewhere, but cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas? The other addons I use are KgPanels, Chinchilla Minimap, Raven, ForteXorcist, Vuhdo, and Docking Station.
