I currently use another square mmap addon named Mappy however the author seems to be inactive since April. Mappy has several key features so I cant just threw out. Would you integrate those that pMiminap misses please? So I can make a change. -Double sized and flashing node marks are incredible useful on a mining tour. -Automatic addon icon sorting around the square map saves nice playtime -In-Combat autohide gives a cleaner UI for the fights http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/mappy/ Would be really nice if you could implement those features into your minimap addon.

As I see this could be useful, its fairly outside the scope of this addon.
Although it regards the minimap, it's a minimap addon, not a gathering addon.

With the current config for minimap buttons I don't think a brand new system that removes the one I just have been working on and instead show everything and lock it there will be of any interest of the rest of the end-users.

There are plenty 3rd-party addons that can do this, use the search feature here on wowi.

If it works, why aren't you using it?
Even though he has shown absence it doesnt mean hes quit developing.
Example: I havent updated pMinimap for 13 months until now

Since most of the key features do not work. And since I can't reach the developer since months on any wow addon sites, so I though abandoned. Ever though as much?

Anyway thanks for the answer at least. I just wanted to know if you're up to expand your minimap addon with some additional optional(!) features if possible while keeping its current state ofc.

Only reason I ask is because I don't like having the zone name inside the map for instances where the zone name is too long and ends up coming outside the border anyways.

You could try SLDataText as an alternative for zone text. ^^

Coordinates have been removed.
I will add a way to toggle the calendar once its out of alpha.

This is my favorite map addon by far and I'm pumped that you've updated it for Cata but it is getting annoying having the config reset itself all the time.

No, I just removed it as there are plenty other addons that can do it, and do it alot better.
