BasicUI

About Basic UI...
BasicUI is a custom UI for World of Warcraft.

I was torn between a few UI's to use a while back and then relized I could take bits and pieces from each UI to make it my own.

So that is what i did, this is a combination of NeavUI and TukUI the way i wanted them to be.

All addons that are in this UI I was given permission from there respected creators to modify and use.


Addons that are incorporated into BasicUI:

* Modified by Cokedrivers


Here are a few things that are included in BasicUI...
  • Stand Alone UI (there are integrations of other addons to work with BasicUI).
  • Custom Unitframe Scaleing.
  • AutoSell all Grey items at a vendor.
  • Datatext Panels to the left of actionbars.
  • Detail Tooltip
  • User Friendly Chat
  • And much, much, more take a chance download BasicUi and give it a try.

Hey, any possibility to get this updated? Absolutely love it but I'm getting alot of lua errors which makes it abit laggy :/

v9.0.2-3 now has the option to hide each panel, the panels are stacked on each other so if you hide bottom panel and middel panel the top panel will be in the same location just a gap below it from the other 2 panels.

Might look at if the bottom or middle are hidden the top drops doen but for now this does what you asked.

The new update works like a charm.
I had to reset the target frame position and the errors stopped popping up.

And I am not using two different unitframe addons , it's just I replaced default blizzard texture with a blp file.

Disabled all addons and only turned on BasicUI.
You are not using BasicUI only because BasicUI does not change the Player Frames color or the castbar color. and buy you picture yours are diffeerent from the default.

Her is the default Player Frame just scaled up:


And here is even the same class to prove you are using another Unitframe addon:


and with using 2 different Unitframe addons together they will clash and give out errors depending upon what each changes.

I'm not having the issue so for those that are i added castbars options. Download 9.0.2 and disable the target frame move and see if this helps

Need to learn more!

I'm going to be putting BasicUI on the back burner untill I personally learn lua better. Alot of this addon was created by others and I just combined it all together. Once I learn lua I will then restart working on this addon. I would like to thank the people that have and are using this UI.

My Special Thanks goes out to:
Phanx - for putting up with all my questions and for me not understanding what to do, also for 75% of the recoding in BasicUI.
Tuk and Elv - for their great work on there UI's which in turn made me want to create this UI.
Neal - for NeavUI which a lot of the code in BasicUI originated from.
There are many others but the above 4 where main contributors.
