Quartz: Eclipse Module  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.1
by: Baffler [More]

This adds an eclipse timer and eclipse hidden cooldown timer to the Mirror bars for Quartz. It also tracks heroism and the T8 proc for boomkins.

To access the configuration options, type /quartz to bring up the quartz options, and then click 'Eclipse'.

You'll need Quartz installed (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7158-Quartz-ModularCastingBar.html) and have the Mirror module enabled (which it should be by default). Just put this addon into the WoW/Interface/Addons directory.

August 18, 2009 - *Updated for 3.2*
* Separate cooldowns for wrath and starfire eclipse
* Added heroism buff watch
* Added t8 boomkin proc
* Removed Owlkin Frenzy and Lock n Load (its now part of Quartz: Procs)

April 16, 2009 - *Updated for 3.1*

* Added Druid's Owlkin Frenzy Timer
* Added Hunter's Lock n Load Timer and Cooldown Timer
* Added a config - it's pretty simple right now, you can change the text displayed for each spell, and the color. Type /quartz to access quartz's config and click on 'Eclipse'

** Todo: Most likely I'm going to have to change the name, and I'll start adding in more class abilities that can be shown. I realize it's odd to have a hunter cooldown on a druid addon, but it was requested before so I added it to this release.

I think I'll make the addon completely customizable so you can add your own spell to be triggered to add a timer for it. And you could add a hidden cooldown timer for each spell as well (if it has one).

This would be a lot more useful for me if you offered a little better fine-tuning of the display.

Especially, I have no desire to see a fat bar sliding down for the Eclipse buff's duration (I have Satrina Buff Frames handling this already). What I prize this module for is its pseudo-accurate tracking of the Eclipse cooldown (without the bloat and severe bugginess/conflicts of Squawk and Awe).

Please separate the buff timers and the cooldown timers into different toggle options, and allow the cooldowns to also display the appropriate icon. Control over the cooldown bar's background color would also be helpful, but I can always just hack the lua file for that, so it's not a big deal.

Actually, I guess I can just hack the lua for all of this. But there's got to be someone else out there who would also appreciate this change, so I'd rather propose it openly.

updated for 3.2

I updated this for 3.2 (I forgot to click that it works with 3.2 woops) but you can use Quartz: Procs if you want more from this addon. This Eclipse module just handles eclipse procs (separate cooldowns for wrath/starfire now) and T8 proc, and heroism/bloodlust

changes to Eclipse in 3.2

is this mod going to be updated for the upcoming changes in Eclipse? Or will it cope with the change in the CD mechanic as is? Has anyone tested it on PTR yet?

Updated for 3.1 now. I added Owlkin Frenzy timer, also Hunter's Lock and Load timer, and cooldown, since that was requested before. There's also a configuration, type /quartz and click 'Eclipse'
