INTRODUCTION
After receiving a lot of positive feedback from certain forums, I decided to upload my UI. This is a minimalist UI meant for mages specifically. I did not write any of the addons included in this compilation, however I did modify the lua code for IgniteTracker and SheepMonitor.
This version currently supports 1920x1080 resolution and all variants with similar aspect ratios. However as you scale up or down from that default resolution you might have to rescale the UI.
Before installing this UI, please make sure to backup your "Interface", "WTF", and "Fonts" folders, preferably somewhere outside the WoW folder.
If anyone has issues/questions about the UI they can post it in the comments section and I will do my best to answer them.

FAQ
Q: How do you get your buff icons displayed like that without ButtonFacade?
A: In order to get the buff frame icons as displayed in the screenshots, you can download the necessary files from AI Art Icons
Q: How do I increase that "8K" number as displayed in your screenshot as a "Thumbs Up" icon?
A: This texture is displayed by "IgniteTracker" and to change this number simply type in "/it notifier threshold #" where '#' is the minimum ignite required to display the texture (ex: /it notifier threshold 8000).
Q: Where are the action bars, where do I bind stuff?
A: I only use action bars for when I am in a vehicle and they pop up on the top-right of the target frame.
Q: Where do I bind stuff?
A: I use the "BindPad" addon to bind all my abilities. Simply type /bindpad and then drag and drop abilities into the empty boxes. To set a bind, click on the ability in this BindPad panel.
VISIBLE ADDONS
INVISIBLE ADDONS
TO DO
# Clean up repeated libraries in the file structures
# Merge all SharedMedia into one folder
# Replace certain addons with lightweight alternatives with lua configurations
# More detailed list of addons
# Modify Deadly Boss Mods to look "prettier"
1.0.1 - 16/03/11ISSUES
- Removed bindings from BindPad
- Updated "config.wtf" to accommodate the more popular 1920x1080 resolution
At the moment, you need to load the "Akuman-Al'akir" profile for a lot of addons such as Satrina Buff Frames, Deadly Boss Mods, SexyCooldown, and Omen. For dominos just copy the mage profile.
You also need to have same chat layout as I do which is 3 chat frames, where the first two are tabbed and on the right, and the third being on the left (see screenshot for more info regards placement).
I currently do not have enough time to fix these issues and if someone else wants to then I have no problem cooperating with them to get the "fixed" version up.

Re: Kgpanels
Not sure if you've tried this already. You also need to have same chat layout as I do which is 3 chat frames, where the first two are tabbed and on the right, and the third being on the left (see screenshot for more info regards placement). If you already have 3 chat frames and this still doesn't work, then you can rename which chat frame you need the window around. If you go to the kgpanels config, Active Panels -> ChatPrivate. Then go to then scroll down to "Parent Frame" and "Anchor Frame". These should both be the Chat Frame that is in the bottom left. If you don't know what that ChatFrame is called specifically, or which one it is, simply change both of the ChatFrame numbers on the anchor frame and parent frame (ex: ChatFrame4 --> ChatFrame3) until you get the right ChatFrame. If that doesn't work, then try finding the exact frame name by binding this following macro to a keybind, and then pressing that key once your mouse is over the ChatFrame you want the kgpanel on. Code:
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(GetMouseFocus():GetName() ); I hope that works for you, and if it doesn't just PM me or post here. I haven't updated this in ages and will be posting a more recent version up soon with updated addons etc... |
