m ActionBars  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 5.1.3
by: Monolit [More]

m_ActionBars or monoActionBars

  • IMPORTANT: if you update to version 4.x from 3.x and older, you must update cfg.lua because it was redesigned.

About
  • Originally inspired by zork's amazing work with rActionBarStyler and rActionButtonStyler.
  • m_ActionBars is a very flexible lightweight add-on that handles your action bars.
  • This add-on is making use of default blizzard's action bars
  • This add-on aimed mainly for people with at least some experience in using lua-configured add-ons as all settings located in cfg.lua.

Key features
  • no GUI;
  • allows user to use up to 6 action bars (5 default + 1 extra action bar);
  • removes all the default action bars textures;
  • supports vehicle, totem, pet, stance and shapeshift bars;
  • built in totem timers functionality and ability to remove totems by right-clicking them;
  • custom exit vehicle button position;
  • styles action buttons' borders;
  • out of range/mana coloring;
  • allows player to choose the orientation and amount of rows for each bar;
  • grants the ability to set custom position, size and spacing between the buttons;
  • allows user to set number of visible buttons for each bar;
  • the ButtonsStyler module allows to hide/show hotkeys, macro names, item count numbers, and also to set custom font for each of those text fields.
  • key-bindings shortcuts;
  • built in HoverBind functionality (/kb to enter bindings mode) that also works directly from spell book and macros menu;
  • supports MicroMenu bar;
  • option to show bars only in combat;
  • 2 special bars for raid marks and world marker flares;
  • option to control bars' opacity;

Credits
  • Zork - for rActionBarStyler
  • Nightcracker - for ncHoverBind

Actually this looks like a rewrite of the blizz bars so blizz buff facade might work for it
Did you get this working with Masque/BF?
Yes I did actually, you have to use BlizzFacade

I'm trying to change the border colors of the buttons, and in order to do this i modify

Code:
cfg.colors = {
       normal = {r =  0,	g =  0, 	b =  0	},
found within the cfg.lua file. However changing those values doesn't only change the border color but the button color slightly aswell. Is there any way to only change the border color?

Is there a way to make bars hide in combat if they are visible otherwise. Currently only the opposite is possible.

Also the bars dont fade out during pet battles.

Bar1 doesn't move

Hey, I tried to glance through the last couple pages to see if anyone had a similar issue and I didn't find anything, so apologies if you've answered this before.

Basically, Bar1 of the action bars won't move for me, at all. I change values of x, y, the position, the alignment, whatever, it doesn't change at all. All the other bars change just fine.

This wouldn't be an issue, but it's out of alignment with the others and my mildly OCD brain is going crazy. I'm not sure if it's an issue with this addon or if it's a conflict, but I'm pretty sure I don't have any other addons modifying the actionbars.

Anyway, this is the position it's stuck in: http://i.imgur.com/IXzTb.jpg

And here's the code that says they should all be aligned properly but aren't for some reason: http://i.imgur.com/fVawF.jpg

Addon list, in case you know off the top of your head addons that interfere with this one: http://pastebin.com/bCZh7h7h

Thanks! Sorry if it's something easy I'm just missing

I was thinking of using it for utility spells. More importantly though the bars dont disappear during vehicle combat or pet battles. Only bar1 does.

Hey and thx for this <3
I wanted to ask how can i change the button border.I am using Clean Icons - Thin but m_actionbars seems to overwrite them.
Found the:
-- adding border so it fits our bars general style-- and tried to altered it but it didn't seem to be it.
Also changing the icon.tga on media didn't seem to do the trick either since every tga icon i tried looked wierd :/.
Tried to find a solution in the buttonstyler.lua but yea couldn't do it.
Could you tell me how to make the button borders more thin?It's too dark atm for me.

EDIT: I found a fiting texture,
but i am getting some background texture behind the actual button
any ideas how to fix it?
Here's a screenie:

I'd like to second the second comment - bar 1 fades out during pet battles, but the other ones don't, so if bar 2 is there as well it kind of overlaps.

Bar1 is not visible at all until you hover a spell over it/move a spell over it? Any update and or fix for this addon soon?
