I made the silly silly mistake of deleting the bag bar on one of my characters instead of hiding it... short of resetting the profile for the character is there anyway for me to recreate it and how? Thanks!

I don't have WoW on this PC, so I can't log and check it for you, but I believe you could create a new bar, and in the second tab of options bind it to bags maybe? I'll get back to you once I've checked it, but it's worth a try. Alternatively, if you haven't logged in since (unlikely, I know), you can restore your lua.bak.

Jumping in... I tend not to use Mac's cast bar as my unit frame addon includes it within the unit frame. However, I wouldn't use Mac's cast bar anyway and would rather use (for example) Quartz because Mac's is pretty bland. Now, I don't mean that to be damning criticism, but if I were involved in customizing the Mac cast bar, I would tart it up with texture, color, and border options for the cast bar frame itself.

In the end, I wouldn't necessarily want to reinvent wheels found in other cast bar addons - and that's probably a reason why it's not as prettified as other purpose-built cast bar addons. But if I were specifically trying to limit my addon list, and really did want to use Mac Extra's cast bar, then the aesthetic aspects of it would be the first things I'd tackle.

From a functionality perspective, I may want to have more control over the text/data displayed (different format options for the timers, spell icons, etc.). But again, I'm not sure that is the objective of Mac Extras. I viewed most of Mac Extras as a package to re-incorporate basic Blizz functionality that may have otherwise been lost when installing Macaroon! as a replacement for the Blizz bars.

Exp bar

How do I change the LENGTH of the experience bar without changing it's scale? I don't want it taller, but I do want it to stretch across the entire screen.

Enter button edit mode (alt-click the minimap button or type /mac edit) and right click on the bar.

Cast bars for party members

hey macaroon community. Long time trinity/macaroon user. I loved the ability to create cast bars for party members(mulitboxer, so it's a real nice way to make sure the alts are still doing what i want them to) I haven't been able to duplicate this in macaroon. When I create new cast bars and change the target to be party1,party2,etc the cast bar still shows my cast bar rather than the desired party member. Any advice?

so i was playing around with the latest macaroon and discovered that it wasn't the most ideal for raiding at it's current stage in development. When i reverted back to my older, more stable version of macaroon (deleted all macaroon files, and saved variables, restored old ones, ect.), I had this annoying little issue where the XP bar wasn't sized the same as I made it originally. I tried resizing through the usual method and found it was broken. when i tried to edit the saved variables, the values would always change back when i /reloadui.

It's a pretty trivial problem albeit annoying.

Edit: okay so i set up the savedvariables file for the XPbar how i liked it and saved it as read only! tadah! temporary fix!

Serious Problems with the Loot Bars!

So far, since Macaroon was introduced, I've only had a couple of problems that I had fixed by going back to an older release. The problems began with the "Preview" version that was released. I've never used it as it has too many problems.
However, I am now having an issue with the Loot Bar. There isn't one.
I've tried going back to an older version hoping it would work but, with the new 3.1 patch that is not the case.
The rest of the extras are working fine and so are the action bars. But, without a loot bar, I can't raid, can't party.
Hopefully, there will be some sort of fix before I have to raid this evening or I will be forced to find an alternate UI.

Try -

/mac create loot

then

/mac add 4

See if that helps. Somehow, your loot bar may have been deleted, but the above will let you create a new one.

Is it just me...

I have had no issues (thus far at least) with Macaroon or any of the Extras except I can't click on the Game Menu button. It does absolutely nothing. I have read below that a few have had issues opening their bags.

Any idea what it could be?

Thanks and Maul, this addon rocks my socks! Makes multiboxing SO much easier!
