flagRSP BC

flagRSP BC is the original flagRSP AddOn updated and enhanced for the World of Warcraft 2.0 patch.

flagRSP BC is an AddOn that allows you to set a title, first name, and last name as well as setting a character status and a roleplaying flag. Other users of this AddOn or a compatible one, flagRSP2, ImmersionRP, or MyRolePlay, will be able to see these flags and you will be able to see theirs. This is mainly useful for RP and RP-PVP servers, but there's nothing preventing you from using this on servers of other types. Feel free to report any bugs or request features either here or on my portal.

If you do use this AddOn, do not use it with flagRSP2, ImmersionRP, or MyRolePlay as they will conflict.

flagRSP BC 0.6.0 Changes
Changes
- Numerous changes to reduce memory used.
- Tooltip code has been rewritten for faster performance.
- Works better, honest.

Bug Fixes
- Players who have never used flagRSP will now be able to have their data initialize correctly.
- No more error messages about tainting the default UI.

Jagoroth A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	I was able to solve the problem by turning off the "Automatic AFK-off" toggle in the built-in WoW interface options panel. It will force you to manually turn your AFK off though it will still turn on as normal.

FiercePook A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	Problems also and a question I've also been having problems with the AFK on-off-on-off thing, it was so annoying to have my whole chat window flooded with it that I reverted back to RSP 0.5.9 and that seems to have fixed it. I do have a problem, though, with once in a while I'll come across a description so massive I have to move the window around to read the whole thing, but then what seems to be happening is that the window at default size is appearing off the viewable screen and so I can't see anyone's descriptions anymore. I've had this problem as well and haven't been able to solve it. I'm almost to the point of just uninstalling the add on. Please let me know if going back to the older version worked for you.

I ran into a problem when changing name on a character with the new namechanging option that Blizz provides. Is there any way to locate my characters flag and friendslist and make it apply to the new name? Seems flag rsp created a new profile for my character when it got a new name. I don't know where to look for the old information though. Please help

All RP realms I know of have an LFRP channel for that.

I wanted to find out what happened to the easy interface button that was on the mini map? I can read other people's profiles and such, but I can't change mine or make a new one at all since I updated it. I have "flagrsp/" till I am blue in the face and still can't figure out a way to edit or create a new profile. I don't even know how to get to the options menu to do this. Even after opening the game-native friends list, Friendlist does not recognize when characters are online, nor does it update their entries. I'm also a bit confused because there was no Friendlist folder in this release... I initially deleted all three flagRSP folders from Interface\AddOns (as I usually do before installing a new version of an addon) and then unzipped the 0.6.0 package, but experienced the non-working behavior described above... I then tried restoring my former Friendlist folder from 0.5.9, but the Friendlist still did not function. Any suggestions? Regards, - Rionne

Uninstalling rsp completely (deleting all folders, cached variables) and installing an older version (0.5.8) will allow the UI to open again. Installing 0.5.9 will not allow the UI to open.

ZeddOverkill A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	Just downloaded and installed and I noticed a funny glitch. WHen I click on someone and go to read their description, the description text vanishes and the window shrinks down to show their name, title, etc. and nothing else. Not sure if this is because of soemthing on their end or mine. Any ideas?

I'm getting the same error everytime I hover the cursoer over ANYTHING. I don't know why or how. I've been using FlagRSP for over a year now, this just kind of...HAPPENED one day and I can't find a work around.
