For right now, yes. The buttons are the default UI buttons so it did not cross my mind to register them to be skinned. Shaman is one class I do not play often, so that would be an oversight on my part. I shall register the buttons to be skinned in a near update.

I did post this issue on the main Macaroon! page but it deals more directly with this module which I was very happy to find for my little shaman's totem bar. It worked beautifully for me in patch 3.2.

Since 3.3 the totem bar no longer shows up. I updated Macaroon and all the the other Macaroon addons that I use, including MultiBar, and all seem to be working fine except the totem bar. I am back to the old, "disable Macaroon, reload UI, switch totem configuration, re-enable Macaroon, reload UI," situation that I had before MultiBar. Perhaps there is a compatibility issue with another mod I use? Has anyone else had this issue or do you have any suggestions, Maul?

I figured out how to fix my problem. I was reluctant to toss all my Saved Variables away because I did not want to lose my profiles, etc. So I went to:
  • WTF/Account/ACCOUNTNAME/Realm/CharacterName/SavedVariables
and tossed out just the MacaroonMultiCast.lua and MacaroonMultiCast.lua.bak. When I logged in after doing that I had my totem mult-bar back.

Anyway to bind the totem bar with "bind edit" I want the bars to have the same key bind on different "totem sets" such that I can swap the sets around and still have the same key bind for earth etc etc... hope this makes sense

ok, IF i understood that right, then you want to set a single key binding to swap from one set of totems to the next, in a loop of sets? and also have 4 other keybindings for the current set's totems? is that right?

honestly, i don't know for sure, i don't have a shammy, but still, i'd bet it is very doable. you may want to ask someone here who does have a shammy,
but if you can't find anyone, then let me know, and i'll help as best i can.

Well I'm not sure you can have key bindings to set up/ change the 3 sets. but yes you can bind a key to each set.
I just used the totem bar once, to set up my 3 sets.
set 1: Party/raid set
set 2: Party/raid set with Tremor totem.
set 3: Solo play set.
coz I don't use the dual spec feature.

Then I have 4 Macaroon selection buttons, one for each element.
I bound the different sets from the spell book to § with mod keys for the other 2 sets.. shift+§ for set 2 and alt+§ for set 3. The Macaroon selection buttons I don't use with binds. but you can if you want to.

Hmm. that might not be what you wanted though.

Just thinking... you could make a select button with the totem set spells and bind that button to a key. Now you use the same key to cast the selected totem set.

You might actually also be able to mace a script in the same selection button such that when you hit a specific key the selection button would change to the next available spell. That script would have to have some code to tell Macaroon to rewrite the macro in the same way it would if you right clicked the button and selected the next spell yourself.

You'd have to take a look in Macaroons code though to see what kind of command you'd have to use.

To have the same ability to change the sets different totems, tough, I think you'd have to program a new Macaroon version of the totem bar.

how to enable the totem bar

This probably falls into the "too obvious to most folks" category, but I had trouble figuring out how to enable the bar. This is the command:

/mac create multiCast

It put the bar over some other bars, so I had to hunt for it a bit.

well, when you use the

Code:
 /mac create
command, it will create that new bar in the center of the screen, by default. i do not think there is a way to change that default setting, but i could be wrong.

I'm not sure about this but:
If there's a command to move your bar to any location by setting x & y coords... You should be able to move it without finding it. and I'd say setting it to 1 , 1 should move it to a corner of your screen.
