oUF Lumen
Before I used oUF and started writing my own layout and small addons, Pitbull, Grid and ClassTimer were a big part of the functionality of my UI. Since then I tried to cut down on the number of addons while trying to retain its functionality. oUF_lumen using the power of oUF tries to accomplish this by creating a customized set of unit frames tha replace Pitbull, Grid and ClassTimer while being light and functional.
Compact config: https://i.imgur.com/34Yilqx.jpg
If you're interested in my UI it's here.
This is a PERSONAL Layout. What this means is that most of the functionalities will be implemented because I need it. I can eventually add some features If I see the utility in them, but I will never change the layout radically or add unnecessary and complicated features just because. The beauty of oUF layouts is that there are plenty for all tastes and it is easy to customize if you want to dwellve into code!

Yeah that is a bug, I never actually tested that since I don't disable the castbar, but it is very easy to fix. I will release a fix eventually but since it is small, not worth doing it fast. Just go to elements > castbar.lua Then on line 91 change the and to or and enabled to enable. Or just copy this to line 91. Lua Code:
Should be like that. After that your setting will work fine in config.lua, no need to change the defaults. Have fun!

I updated the addon last night, might be worth to get the update. Do report any problems, I'm leveling but I will try to fix it ASAP.

oUF_Lumen is queued for update in the CI... it is taking quite a bit.
So if you want to download oUF_Lumen get it here, it is updated in the UI pack: https://www.wowinterface.com/downloa...616-LumUI.html You can disregard the rest of the UI if not interested. Also, still some Class filters to update and such for AuraBars and SpellWatchers for the classes I don't actually play, but I will get there slowly. Open to suggestions. Also bugs, do please use GitHub. Thanks and have fun in Shadowlands!

Still finishing adding more class filters, but once I get home I'll finish and release it in time for shadowlands. There were some bugs in the Party frames yeah, they are fixed now.

My party frame healthbars don't seem to be updating in combat. I don't see any errors, but my party's health never changes. Any ideas? My config.lua is minimal:
Code:
cfg.units.nameplate.show = false cfg.units.player.castbar.pos.y = 12 |

1) and 2) The addon is packaged with other dependencies which are retrieved automatically using a packager script, so only the releases on GitHub or the download here on WoWInterface will have all those deps. That library you mentioned is a new one to add the glows to the Spell Watchers, therefore the issue you are having. I will be releasing it later today so you will be able to just download and use it. 3) and 4) I still need to update the config commented examples for the compact layout. Still WIP, bare with me!

Let's hope there ain't too many bad bugs, ideally none.
I'm having some weird issues. Well, "issues" since BugSack addon is not throwing errors regarding some custom settings. However, it is throwing 2 errors after downloading the newest version from GitHub repo: 1) Lua Code:
2) Lua Code:
3) Other issues. I can see, as I'm farming ICC rares atm on Paladin, only "Shield of Vengeance" buff and "Judgment" debuff correctly with the cool less-colored bartimer setup (which is just what I wanted visually, thanks). Weirdly, using the compact ui from config.lua file works, but anything else I add there does not (aura filters that is), nor do they work by adding "Crusade" with correct SpellID in the filters.lua file. I've not been able to see some of the buffs for some time now that I think about it. I am not sure why there are only handful of buffs/debuffs that are working, but adding more auras correctly does not. I hope you can shed some light in the upcoming days. Nothing crucial after all as Paladin, and Boomer rotations are not snapshotting! 4) After some more testing, "Shield of Vengeance" and "Divine Shield" auras are not always visible when out of combat. For personal preferences I have disabled gradient health color, enabled class color, disabled fader function (in 2 places just in case, functions and defaults files), and adjusted cast bar location a bit in compact ui version, if these can somehow mess up with something. I do not know how the spellwatcher and playerplate will alter the auratimers and such tracking, if at all, but they are correctly hidden in compact ui mode. |

Think it is ready for release, at least Spell watchers seems now to be working properly, tried to squash as much bugs as possible. But I guess during gameplay some might pop up.
This is the current look of this iteration for oUF_Lumen. I will also update the more compact config of the layout in the config.lua file (commented by default).

There shouldn't be any problem changing the scale. But You might need to reposition some elements. Best place is to use config.lua yes. Save your file between updates too.

Hi,
First time user. Love the layout! Thank you for sharing it (and your LumUI code). I used to use rothui and oUF_Simple, but he hasn't updated in a while, so I'm really happy to find a similar -- and, dare I say, even better-looking -- oUF layout. The only problem I've run into so far is that the player castbar is off the bottom of the screen. I use 0.8 UI scale on a 3440x1440 screen. Is the weird placement because of UI scale? Is the best solution to change the anchor via config.lua? What's it supposed to look like, out of curiosity? |

OK, that is n idea, I think it is possible to do something like that yes. Because trimming the name of Targets with multiple names without some sort of filtering might create some weird results like imagine: Furious Fairy -> Furious! So, yeah, I will try to find some sort of pre-set filtering solution for that. I don't main Druid, but I have every class and spec (who doesn't nowadays?), I will try to do a round check for Aura Bars and the new Spell Watchers to try to at least set a baseline that works for every class / spec. That is basically what is left and then I will release this, hopefully on the weekend to be ready for Shadowlands. Want to concentrate on playing the game and less coding!
