khangg UI

Version: 1.2
by: khangg [More]

Hi there! This UI is meant for those that still want the default UI appearance, with a few tweaks here and there and should be used in conjuction with your own favourte addons.

Video Demonstration

http://youtu.be/XLuTsFsP8-g - healing a battleground

Features
  • Darkened UI
  • Class colour in the background where target name is
  • Status text modifications (as seen in screenshot)
  • Scaled up arena frames + trinket AND combat tracker
  • Cleaned up a lot of Blizzard textures around the actionbars
  • Timers underneath castbar (check screenshot)
  • Optional buff/debuff tracker, requires editing khangaddon.lua

Addons also included:

!AWP: in-game addon control panel
Align type /align to see a nice beautiful grid to align your elements to
BasicBuffs: moves the default buff frame + debuff frame together
InterruptBar(modified by me): shows cooldown of important interrupts in two rows by default
nibWatchFrameAdv: modifies quest tracker -refer to screenshot
xCT+: customizable floating combat text, see video for it in action

If you do not need any of these addons and only want the default UI modifications, you only need to extract khangaddon to your Addons folder.

Feel free to change around some things inside khangaddon, I'll help where I can. I used the thread listed here to help me create it. Within khangaddon there is a section that can be modified to track any buff/debuff of your choosing, however it is a bit tedious. If you know a little bit of lua then the code shouldn't be hard to follow.

If you want to modify InterruptBar, please refer to my thread here on ArenaJunkies: http://www.arenajunkies.com/topic/23...al-no-cd-text/

Instructions

Simply extract everything in the zip to your World of Warcraft folder and rename the ACCOUNTNAME folder inside the WTF folder.

1.2, UI overhaul, new addons and modified khangaddon extensively

1.12, added castbar timers - not a major update not required.

1.11, added sArena, much easier to get the frames the way you want them.

1.1, added WhoaUnitframes and xCT + and a video demonstration. Removed Adibags (caused Glyph UI errors)

1.02, included code to remove gryphons, I'm sorry it took so long to realize this. I had another addon (Leatrix) hiding the gryphons for me, so I thought I had the line in the code.

1.01 Initial release, reuploaded initial release to include fonts.

It's just raid-style party frames, available in-game at Interface\Raid Profiles

I think you need to upload WTF folder.
Normally I would upload the WTF folder but the cast bar timers and the modified actionbars are all done through the addon I wrote (khangaddon) - if the interface folder was copied to the WoW folder all the addons should have been copied too (so that it looks like this: World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons)

The position of default frames can be moved by simply right clicking it and unlocking - it's how I moved mine.

I would suggest just trying to copy everything in the addons folder and put it in your own (khangaddon and whoaunitframes are the ones necessary to make it look like the screenshot)

Also, I found out on my end that if

Code:
BonusActionBarFrameTexture1:SetAlpha(0)
BonusActionBarFrameTexture2:SetAlpha(0) -- this is for druids/rogues/warriors.
BonusActionBarFrameTexture3:SetAlpha(0) -- their stances cause this to show up
BonusActionBarFrameTexture4:SetAlpha(0) -- over the normal bar.
that part of the code (in khangaddon) seems to give random errors if you aren't a druid, warrior or rogue so if you want to avoid this error, simply delete it or put -- in front of each line which essentially puts it as a comment (and therefore those line of code aren't executed)

I apologize

I didn't realize my addon (khangaddon) didn't include the lines of code that would remove the gryphons from the actionbar, as Leatrix Plus was doing this for me. I have included those lines in the new upload if you wish to download them, or alternatively, you can enable the option within Leatrix and save yourself a download.

Sorry to the user who's post I deleted, I didn't mean to troll.
