eBasic

Version: 1.0.6
by: Naberius [More]

Note
This UI has been tested with the new 3.1 PTR but, is only experiencing minor details which can be remedied by grabbing updated mods of the ones erroring. (ie: MSBT) There is also some odd image positioning with the kgpanel art on the ptr and if it continues like that onto live then that will be pretty easy to fix.

eBasic
- UI was created in a 1600x1050 resolution
- Many elements were taken and or edited to my own preferences.
- oUF style is based off of Neal's oUF_Neav which can be found here.

Frames Supported
- Player
- Player Pet
- Target
- Target of Target
- Focus
- Focus Target
- Party
- Party Pets **New**

Unique Elements
- VisualHeal Support
- A second unitframe skin to use
- Latency to castbars
- Swing timer support
- Multiple Actionbar and Art setup **New**

Brief Installation Guide
- Backup your current Interface/WTF folders
- Extract the file using WinRar to either your desktop or where you prefer
- Copy/Move the Interface and WTF folder into your main WoW folder (usually located inside c:\program files\world of warcraft)
- Rename the folder YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME to your actual account name
- Rename the folder 'ServerName' to the server you play on
- Rename the folder 'CharacterName' to the character you use
- Copy/Move the folders that say 'PlayerFrame' and 'TargetingFrames' into your interface folder.
- Login to your account
- Go to each mod and set the profile to: eDefault
- Reload UI when you're done to make sure all positioning is fixed.

Additional Info
- More installation help found in the install file within the package.
- To use the skinning portion of oUF_Basic you need to go into oUF_Basic.lua and follow the instructions at the top of the file.
- Raid frames are not oUF based and are only temporary until an oUF version is implemented.

3-30-09
- Did some tweaking
- Added party pet frame support

3-25-09
- Added new actionbar background art
- Added new actionbar left/right art
- Added multiple profiles to work with 2/3 bar setups

3-06-09
- Fixed some tweaks here and there
- Added Focus Target frames

3-03-09
- Added swing timer support
- Added latency support to castbars
- Added a skin to have as an alternate choice
- Added visualheal support

3-01-09
- New rune mod that's more basic looking.
- Reworked the castbars time/name positioning as well as truncating the name.
- Added as well as removed a few mods

Great ui

Great ui mate I've tried it and I'd like it But I was one thing I didn't like so much, you had scaled cowtip too low so I couldn't almost see it
Pretty ui btw
I had to remove and re scale some off the addons
keep working on it and keep it updated
Sorry for my bad english;/

Yeah most of the scaling is based off of my resolution and to my likings. I play with a resolution of 1600x1050 which is why things seem small but, a little rescaling to fit your needs never hurts. :P I'm still working with a few things like altering the castbar, target buffs/debuffs and some other stuff.

Thanks for the positive feedback though.

You don't need Ace3, LibDogTag-3.0, LibDogTag-Unit-3.0, or SharedMediaLib. Any addons that need libraries from these packages (especially note that "Ace3" is actually a bundle of about a dozen independent libraries, and that most addons only use a few of them) already embed copies; that is, they include copies of each library inside their own folder. Also, SharedMediaLib is really, really old, and not used by anything that's been updated in the last year at least; I don't see anything on your addon list that should be using it.

Nice ui, BUT!

Nice ui, installing it right away.

I have one request tough. Im trying to edit the unitframes abit myself, but my lua skills arent high enough apparently. If you ever played with xperl, you know that your debuffs gets alot biger than the rest if the option is checked. As I like the omniCC numbers to track my diesases for my DK in both pvp/pve I would like to add this functionallity to this unitframes. I got to some section in the lua code where auraSize was mentioned. Is this the number to change ? Any help would be appriciated

And thanks for a clean, but still good looking UI

Heya,

is there a simple way to utilize only the gryphon replacements / demons from this package? Becuase those are gorgeous and would fit wonderfully into my already set up UI.

Thanks in advance for your help C:

Honestly I'm pretty new when it comes to lua as well but I have some programming knowledge so I'm not too confused while looking at it. When I went in and changed the sizes of the auras I edited the function PostCreateAuraIcon so you might want to edit that and see if it helps any. If it doesn't you may want to go into the aurasize option and set a height/width yourself to see if that works.

Thanks for the comments, I'm still working to make it better.

You would need to get kgpanels (if you don't have it already) as well as the images within the rTextures folder.

- Go into oUF_Neav
- Open oUF_NeavConfig
- Where it says castbars = true make it say false

Enjoy

At the moment there is no focus target support but, I suppose I could look into adding it before next compilation.

All I have to say is... thank you!
---
Ok no idea what's wrong but I'm getting the error that oUF is not supporting focus frame and I have to disable it to get the frame to work (so go back to default blizz frames).

---
disable each addon that may interfere, but even when leaving just oUF mods on, the focus is still not working saying that the focus (action) is only applicable on blizzard frames and not the mod.
