Insight

Version: 9 (WoW 5.3)
by: Jerek [More]

Type "/insight" to open the options panel. Most PlayerFrame options can also be toggled with keybindings.

Insight displays player health, mana/energy/rage, charges (when applicable), and exp info. Also colors player name when auto-attack is enabled, and colors health bar based on health percentage. Health and mana/energy/rage can be displayed as a percentile. it also allows display of health and mana values at your target's portrait.

The /tnl command sends your TNL (to next level) info to say, party, raid or guild chat, or just displays it for only you, or whispers it to a friend. Type /tnl help for more info.

RELEASE 9 - Sunday, April 14, 2013
- Fixed a bug where the mana type of the target was not always handled correctly.
- Fixed an issue with trying to change frame sizes during combat lockdown, causing combat lockdown errors.

RELEASE 8 - Thursday, December 20, 2012
- Improved styling of the experience display beneath the player portrait to use nice number formatting and use colors to distinguish between areas of the text.
- Use of decimals for large values (e.g. turning 375,218 in to 375.2 K) no longer always uses decimals unless you have the option enabled. Without the option it will still use decimals for low shorthand values (e.g. 11,632 to 11.6 K, but 375,218 to 375 K).

RELEASE 7.2b - Tuesday, November 27, 2012
- Updated to work with WoW patch 5.1.

RELEASE 7.2 - Sunday, November 25, 2012
- Updated to work with WoW patch 5.0.x.
- Updated some EXP/TNL placement adjustments for various class resources. (Monk chi, new Warlock resources, etc)
- Better formatting for large values.
- Renamed mod from JDHP to Insight.

Interface action failed due to an addon

Hey Jerek,

Thanks for the awesome add-on, but I'm getting the same error Squiddy0 was getting even when all other add-ons are disabled.

11/30 01:23:29.653 An action was blocked in combat because of taint from JDHP - TargetFrame:SetPoint()
11/30 01:23:29.653 Interface\AddOns\JDHP\JDHP.lua:369 JDHP_RenderTargetHealth()
11/30 01:23:29.653 Interface\AddOns\JDHP\JDHP.lua:253 JDHP_PlayerFrameOnEvent()
11/30 01:23:29.653 JDHPPlayerDisplay:OnEvent()

Any idea what it could be?

Sure thats the Addon is fucking GREAT!
But 1 thing is horrrobile. Youre frame moving option is chrashing with my lynsetting. The target frame must be on the left corner. that suckes.

Haven't seen this one - can you give any info on your other addons, particularly any modifying the TargetFrame or PlayerFrame? Do you still have the problem if you disable all addons other than JDHP?

Here is a workaround:
rename mobinfo2 or JDHP so that JDHP gets loaded after mobinfo2 (either !mobinfo2 or zJDHP, remember to copy your saved variables in WTF, if you rename mobinfo)

The problem is that Mobinfo's PLAYER_TARGET_CHANGED event handler gets called after JDHP's.

Looks pretty nice in light of the discontinuation of Archaeologist.

I noticed something weird. When you cycle through your party, you sometimes get bogus values that match a previously targetted unit (first time I noticed, a hunter had a max of 22k hp, which was probably a value from mobinfo).

The setup was:
-On the bar, exact value (no %) with max, % on the side.
-Mobinfo2 (3.52 according to .toc, and called mobinfo in the .toc)
