Texture Nameplates

This is a texture based nameplate skin for Blizzards nameplates.

That means:
- Zero extra memory usage
- Cleaner square look
- Compact: without all this bulky borders
- Elite texture is just an "E" no Dragon!
- Not interruptible Castbar is strike instdead of the shild
- Mod will always work untill Blizzard changes Nameplate textures
- all features of original nameplates and compatible with all AddOns

Installation
1. Download the package.
2. Choose what version you woud like to use (see screenshots)
3. Put the folders "TARGETINGFRAME" and "Tooltips" into your "Interface" folder NOT AddOns folder!

This includes 2 Folders choose one
v1: First version with "E" elite icon and "R" rare icon
v2: Border goes around the level text and elite/rare texture is blank
v3: same as v2 but with Star for Elite and Skull for Rare Elite

4.0
Added Star and Skull into the V3 folder

3.0
Redone the texturs for WoD

2.0
Now 2 folders:
v1: First version with elite icon
v2: Border goes around the level text + blank elite texture

Remove the EliteNameplateIcon.blp from Tooltips folder.
Woud you like to use something instead or just blizzards texture? Maybe a little dragon or just a clean square as indicator?

Not possible only with textures.
Maybe ask in forum if someone can code you an addon that hides names (why ever you woud want that).
But targeting highlight borders are not in blizzards standard nameplates so no way to skin it. The not targeted mobs are faded out I think this is enoth anyway ...

I would love for the border to go around the level of the target also.
Is this possible?

I like the look of your border better, as it is thinner and sits better.
But you get the idea.

I prefer no elite texture at all, as I use a skinned version of default unitframes, I have the elite texture there anyway.

Sorry at the moment I have much to do for my study but here it is.

Now 2 folders:
v1: First version with elite icon
v2: Border goes around the level text + blank elite texture

Its not possible to extend the bar only with textures but i made a black background for the level text + let the glow go around it. Tell my if you need more
