Paladin Buffer

Note!: I've not played a Paladin for a while and so this isn't maintained. Antiarc has written his own Pally Power replacement that I would recommend using in place of PB: http://www.wowace.com/addons/blessed/

Paladin Buffer is meant to simplify the assigning and managing both greater and single blessings... and there's not really much to it besides that. Includes a small buff status frame to see what the lowest greater and single blessing is overall and per class, the ability to buff individual classes through it as well as a key binding to smart greater and single buffing people. Syncs with other Paladin Buffer users, and includes an option (enabled by default) to sync with Pally Power.

Slash command is /paladinbuffer and the short cut is /pb

For broker users, you can use the plugin by fraz0815, Broker Paladin Buffer

Shadowed ... Forum posts: 387 File comments: 2513 Uploads: 83	ALT + Drag the main buff frame anchor to move it, and ALT + Drag the "title" bar on the assignment frame. Not sure what you mean by it won't allow you to assign buffs, are you not clicking the icons?

Had one issue with another players (using PallyPower) assignments wouldn't show up, but think that might be because she was using an old version of PP. Another user of PallyPower showed up just fine. Had a few questions though. a) Is it possible that you can scale the buff-frame higher than 1 (like the assign-frame)? I realize I can probably edit my copy locally to allow for it but maybe it could be added by default. b) Is it intended behavior that assigns reset when you leave a group? c) If another player is using PallyPower and have the same blessing assigned as me, is it intended behavior that my assignment gets removed? In PallyPower both would show as having the same blessing assigned. But overall, great work!

It could also be an old version, I did the comm code based off the latest one as of a week ago. 1) I thought I had the buff frame able to go past 1, but I guess not that'll be fixed next push. 2) That's intended, I can make it not reset your assignments but I don't see much point in keeping them. 3) Yes, I can change it so they don't overlap so it's just any kings blessing, that probably makes more sense. I need to do some testing first, but next version I push is going to enable permissions, while by default they will be disabled it will visibly show you if you can set there blessings or not (Both by a red name, and the blessing icons being disabled)

I don't think I pushed my assignments, but she could see mine though - I just couldn't see hers. I figured out what she had assigned by trying to assign a blessing and then having it removed when I hit refresh. But probably a version-issue.

Well, don't think you need to change it. Was just surprised that it happens (that differs from PP) and wondered if it was intentional. Usually I group with the same people so I don't really change my assignments all that much, but it's not a problem.

A totally aesthetic request, would it be possible for an option to change the color of the bufframe? The white border doesn't fly with the rest of my UI. :P I like the new color scheme for determining who needs a buff though.

Anyway - looking forward to the next release.

Forum posts: 387 File comments: 2513 Uploads: 83	If you were able to see what she had by it auto unselecting buffs, then it sounds like it was working it just didn't update her, you might want to try hiding/opening the assignment frame. I'll add an option to change the border color next push. I lied, by default you need leader/assist to change assignments because I forgot to change it before pushing the release.

I can't assign buffs to myself. In the picture it shows the paladins name and then you can click the icons to set the assignment for that class. My assign frame has no paladins listed and I am one. I only have PB running so it isn't a conflicting add on. I am sure it is just me missing something. >.>

You can type /script PaladinBuffer.db.profile.blessings[UnitName("player")] = {} to fix it thought Kuthomii: Can you provide a screenshot of the assignment UI? You shouldn't have any issues setting your own assignments regardless of permissions.
