HealUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.02.00
by: bd12024 [More]

This mod creates a set of buttons and health bar for each party/raid menu to help healers of all classes. It tracks if spells are active, or if a spell can cure a debuff on someone. It has a favorites window option that allows you to choose who and what order are on it. Many find it much easier to visually see buttons and the indicators on the buttons. The number of buttons and spells of the buttons can be modified in the menus.

This mod is an updated version of the RaidUI. Several performance improvements were made. The spell menu is now a drag and drop the spells in, allowing any spell to be used. It can also track special procs and highlight a button when the proc happens.

Feel free to borrow, steal, or improve anything from the mod.

Suggestions are always welcome.

Known Issues:
- After battlegrounds sometimes left over players are still listed. Open menu and click ok to get rid of them
- The class isn't always detected correctly when first logging in.
- When Battlegrounds adds players, the information on that unit isn't always immediately available, and sometimes a unit will be shown as unknown.

Added Features in v1.02.00
- Health bars are now colored based on class. The colors are the same as healbots default colors.
- When a unit has aggro, the frame's background turns red.
- If a unit has it's role set, an icon will be displayed showing the role.

To Do:
- Add show aggro menu option
- Add show role icon menu option
- Add health bar color menu options
- Add Mana/recource bar on top for the "player".

Added Features in v1.02.00
- Health bars are now colored based on class. The colors are the same as healbots default colors.
- When a unit has aggro, the frame's background turns red.
- If a unit has it's role set, an icon will be displayed showing the role.

Fixes in v1.00.01
- Fixed issue where the buttons that moved a player up and down the list would cause an error.
- Fixed issue where the panel would be too wide if the number of players was the same as max rows.
- Fixed debuff indicator so it now turns red when a debuff can be cured by that spell.

cool healing addon

kinda cool addon so far. I've been a HealBot fan since it first came out and played around quite a bit with VuhDo, but I've sorta been attracted by the simplicity of using this addon. I'd like to make a suggestion or two that I think would be helpful for healing.

1. Class icons or class coloring of the health bars. Would be helpful to know what classes I'm healing so as to help me prioritize who I want to heal.

2. Role icons...pretty much the same reason as #1

3. "Has Aggro" indicator...bar outline red glow perhaps. Since I don't want to have 2 sets of health bars on the screen for all 40 of my teammates in AV or a raid I'd like to get a little basic info from the ones I'll have up for healing.

The optimal setup would be class colored bars or name text with role icons and aggro indication. Thanks for a great addon and keep up the good work! If you need beta testing assistance feel free to ask

best healing mod ever !!

I have been playing a holy priest since vanilla and this by far is the cleanest, easiest mod to use for healing, and I have tried them all. I had the opportunity to use this mod which was developed by a fellow guildmember a few years ago. I highly reccomend it, I love it and I am so happy he is back in the game, improved and made adjustments to this mod so I can once again use it.. Try it you will love it !!
