OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

New release seems to have broke the latest version of Autobar and Pitbull.

I didnt get a chance to write down the specific error as I installed right before raid time and needed to back out of the new release.

Went back to Version 1.2 and it works fine.

I will try to get the error and post in this afternoon

So people with the, "not seeing cooldowns" problem:
  • Do you have Lua errors enabled in interface options? If not, then turn them on.
  • What addons are you using?
  • Can I get a screenshot of your interface?

Yeah, actually decreasing the scale made it show up for me. Anything below 0.4 will show the cooldowns and setting the scale to 0.5 or above will hide the cooldowns.

In 2.0.4, I've tweaked what sizes the minimum scale setting matches up to. Here are some ones to remember:
  • 100% - Will show text on standard action button slots, and anything bigger than them
  • 90% - Will show text on the standard pet bar
  • 55% - Will show text on target frame buffs and debuffs

There was a bug with LibSharedMedia. I fixed it in 2.0.3

how to modify the size of the flash when the cooldown finishes with 2.0.2?
There's no easy way to do it without doing a bit of Lua hacking. I'll try and make it more easily set in a future version.

Not show target icon timers?

Is there anyway to not show the timers on your target's (debuff) icons?

(And thanks for the great mod.)

Using 2.0.4, I don't see cooldown numbers on my PitBull target frame for buffs/debuffs that have a time (I can see a countdown in the tooltip). OmniCC's minimum scale is set to 0% and it's working for my action buttons on Bongos.

Also, do you think you could make the pulse icon match the button's current state. It can be a bit confusing when I don't have enough rage/energy for a particular ability which finishes its cooldown and then pulses it's icon as if I did have enough rage/energy to use it. I notice this in particular with Shield Block and Revenge.

I had the same problem, I've went back to a older version, works fine with bongos. I'm using Version: 7.1.11 works perfectly for me. I'll up day Omin every time a new update is out and I always end up going back to that version. My oppinion that was just about perfect verion, and my oppinion is if it's not broke dont fix it.

Version 2.0.5 shows cooldown numbers on PitBull buff/debuffs when I enable Cooldown Spirals in PitBull's global aura settings. Good job!

2.0.5

2.0.5 should show up on (hopefully) everything, for Windows users. Some addons implement their own cooldown count text, so you're going to want to disable it if you're using OmniCC, or just set OmniCC to not show up on that stuff. I couldn't implement the change for Mac users because it causes WoW to crash for 'em.

I've also set the pulse color to changed based on its parent icon's current color.

Hiding cooldown text:
Mess around with the minimum scale setting in OmniCC Options. I've given some baseline values in an earlier post.
