to anyone having issues with Macaroon atm...

as i said in the subject, this post is to anyone having issues with Macaroon atm.

you might try reading the following thread Maul started (and, he had posted a link to this thread on the Comments section for Macaroon, on 12-02-2011, 11:28 PM)

Love and Hate

so, as you can see from that post, he is rather busy atm, but if we are willing to wait a bit, he will have a new, better mod for us soon.

in the meantime, we should help him in whatever ways we can, be that by helping test his new mod, or (for those of us who can do LUA coding) by helping write the code (if he gives the go-ahead for that, but i'd assume he would have to approve each person to help with that individually), or maybe even by giving him a donation.

there are probably other ways that we might be able to help him, but i can't think of any atm.

P.S.

huh, some of the posts i am posting are not showing the first time i try to submit them, so, again, i apologize if this turns out to make a double-post.

If I type '/mac create XP' I just get the usage information again, and there is no XP bar visible or in the Bar Editor bar list.

The XP bar appeared by default on my new gobbo alt, but it also only shows bar and sb when I type '/mac create'. As expected, 'XP Bar Group' does show up in the Bar Editor bar list.

Not sure if it's relevant - my main gets the following error at login time (but not the gobbo):

Locals: (*temporary) = nil

Thanks for otherwise amazing addons!
If you have the old MacaroonXP addon still installed loading at startup, and still got the saved variables in your saved variables folder, yo should delete them. Sure, they do display as before and all that. but they might interfere with the new macaroon.

Since Macaroon 4.x you have the XP bar included i the Macaroon: StatusBars addon and it is therefor a statusbar that you want to add to get a new XP bar. which is /mac create sb as also stated in post below.

Of course it it. you can add any number of buttons, set the buttons tho whatever status type you want them to be and even have several status bars to be able to separate the bars from each other.

For what you're asking about just go to button edit mode and click the bar to toggle what type of status you want it to be. Works just like shifting a Macaroon Button from macro to PetID:# and actionID:#

First see if you have a statusbar group in the list of bars in the bar edit gui.
If you do, select it and go
/mac x 0
/mac y 0

But if there is none, you can either click create bar and choose statusbar group or go
/mac create sb

No, but you could always split the bar up..
make 2 "buttons" wit 2 columns
now go to button edit and set the height and width so you get both the bars to about 50% length of the screen, now you have it like one bar only containing both.

Well that or make then really thin so you can place em above each other like I do.

You set all this up in the general or advanced tabs in button edit mode.
For example you can now have the XP bar show percentages to the right rested levels to the left and have the center show amout of xp you got/xp to reach to level up. All in the same bar without clicking on it to swap between them all.

The status bars act just like buttons. Enter button edit mode and right-click on them to bring up the editor which has options to adjust length and width.

Currently, no, but it could be added. If you put it on my feature request list I will be sure to be reminded to add it.
