Endeavours Damage Meter

If you are searching for a lightweight Damage Meter, this might be your choice!
It is module-based, so you only turn on the features you really need and therefore only consume performance (CPU, memory) for the enabled modules.

This addon is at beta status, it is not feature complete!
Currently, there's only damage tracking available but more modules will be available soon (heal, decurses, DPS, Player stats and so on).

Feel free to give any feedback, feature requests or bug reports.

E_DM V1.2:
- Added support for class coloring of bars, fixed Overdamage, Ability to lock the frame

I cant wait. But bear in mind, even if your dps meter is awesome, it better be close to matching recount. If it isnt you better be able to explain where recount fails. I have used many dps meters and EVERYONE assumes recount is the GOD of meters. They swear nothing is right but recount. I have found recount to be buggy as hell and may or may not record pet dps with owner.

Since having memory and stability issues with recount I gave it a try and it worked marvellous. Thanks. Looking forward to some other plugins.

That said nobody is ever completely happy and want more features

Any chanse of an option to turn off/hide the titlebar and "report button" bar above and below the damage information area? Also perhaps an option to hide the position numbers before names. Those would be awesome.

The combat log is actually generated by events (even blizzard's original combat log), so there's no difference in your question. It's like you're asking if 1 = 1...
Therefore, EDM collects its data from events, as all ingame damage meters do. Only thing i know is wowwebstats using the text file dump, but as i said, even that textfile is generated by events.

Thanks for your comment, added lock functionality and class coloring in version 1.2.
You can have (theoretically) unlimited bar styles, just download these mods (which contain a lot of textures and fonts):
