TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Add current coordinates to chat
Hello! Apologies if this has been asked/answered, I have searched thoroughly and haven't been able to find a solution yet.
Is there a way to publish/print the current coordinates to the chat window? For example, if I've engaged a rare enemy at {50, 50} is there a way to output this into, for example, General chat? I have a macro: Code:
/1 I've engaged the rare creature %t! Come help me finish it off! Code:
/1 The fight's going down at {coordinates}! |

Re: TomtomRequired For Waypoints
That's why you're getting that message. I suggest you track down that addon and disable that option if you don't want it.

TomtomRequired For Waypoints
Set waypoints for fishing essence in Azshara. The waypoints then showed up in every zone on every character.
I deleted the way points. They came back. I deleted profiles in addon, waypoints showed back up. I disabled tomtom, waypoints still somewhere because I keep getting "Tomtom required for waypoints", it will show up in chat area like this: Tomtom required for waypoints Tomtom required for waypoints Tomtom required for waypoints Tomtom required for waypoints Tomtom required for waypoints Deleted the add on totally, still getting message. Deleted anything with Tomtom in the saved variables folder, still getting the message. WHAT do I have to delete to get rid of this? Thank you so much for any help. |

Sorry this got so messy, I never properly cleaned up in the transition from AddZWaypoint to AddMFWaypoint and then ultimately in the new map API setup it changed yet again. Apologies!

Re: TomTom:AddZWaypoint()
The README.md file contains what I think are the supported external interfaces and documentation.
Anyways, the replacement function is TomTom:AddWaypoint(). I'll remove that extra Z.

TomTom:AddZWaypoint()
Sorry if I ask this again, but I have been unable to find any reference to this so far.
It seems like TomTom:AddZWaypoint() was removed with v80001-1.0.0, presumably when old stuff was thrown overboard with that version. However, there is still a reference to it in TomTomWaypoints.lua, stating that "the public TomTom:AddZWaypoint()" shall be used instead of internal functions. Now, my question is how should I add waypoints from my own addon, with that function being gone? |

Re: Error from Retail.
Good Catch!
The issue was immediately obvious once I looked at the code. The error shows when the game does not provide coordinates for the quest on the current map. The fix will be in the next release.

Error from Retail.
I decided to go and clear up some old quests and got this error.
Code:

So I reloaded UI and tried it from the Mulgore map without the quest being tracked, this didn't give me an error by the arrow was pointing to a different quest in a different zone! My character is in Stonetalon Mountains. The quest I tried tracking is in Thunder Bluff but it chose the anniversary quest The Originals, it's choosing the Feralas dragon. Both POI can be seen from the Mulgore map. |

Re: Tom Tom Classic Error
This will be fixed in the next release.
Blizzard removed the POI support in Classic. I have another bug to fix and then I will cut it. Hopefully tomorrow, next day worst case.

OK. I need more info.
So which version are you running? What other addons do you have? Can you name a quest that did not work?

Re: TomTom arrow
Yes you can, Interface/AddOns Tab/TomTom/WayPoint Arrow.
Scroll down to the bottom and change Title Scale. 2 seems good Hope that helped
