FaceShooter is a shot recommendation addon for hunters.

Based on your resources like cooldowns and focus it tries to recommend which spell should be cast next.
It is a complete strip back to basics of the former version of FaceShooter, with the new and changed features developed from there.

Simple version number change for 6.1

Cooldown Sprial Returns!
Altered Black Arrow cooldown from 30sec to 24sec due to 6.1 changes
Coding for Barrage now properly handles the channeled spell
Still aware of issues regarding Explosive shot occasionally 'sticking' due to Lock and Load

Faceshooter should now work when mounted on a Telaari Talbuk or a Frostwolf War Wolf

Serpent Sting is now explicitly checked for and Arcane Shot is suggested when it is about to fall off
Issue resolved when Cobra Shot still suggested occasionally when Focusing Shot talent is selected.
Horde should now be able to use Faceshooter while riding a Frostwolf War wolf. I don't have a Horde char so please test and let me know.
Survival focus dump now changed to Arcane Shot

Still an issue is the glitch where Explosive shot gets stuck. It's reproducible but still investigating the root cause.

FaceShooter will correctly disable itself if not a Hunter or lower than level 90
Kill Shot now improved. You must however have one of the following on your Action Bars:
- The Kill Shot spell, ie dragged from the spell book to your Action Bars
- A Kill Shot macro with the exact Kill Shot icon
If neither of these are on your Action Bars, Kill Shot is disabled and not recommended by FaceShooter

Fix for Kill Shot on BM spec (Incorrectly applied MM Draenor perk)
Focus Fire / Frenzy proc now recognized and suggested in shot recommendations
Faceshooter will work if riding a Telaari Tabuk
Focusing shot partially implemented but still under development and test - Use with caution

Bug fix for focus calculation errors for SV and BM spec

Added Dreanor Perks:
-Max focus increased by 20
-Kill Shot works on targets < 35% health
Known issues to be resolved:
-Does not recognise when Kill Shot resets its CD if the target does not die from it.
-Faceshooter does not check specifically for which Dreanor Perks are active, so only enables them when your level is 98 or greater.

Bug fix for a specific situation which resulted in Aimed Shot never being recommended during Careful Aim phase

- Careful Aim now implemented for Marksman, Prioritizes Steady and Aimed Shots when Target health > 80% or when Rapid Fire is active. Can be enabled / disabled / enabled for boss level targets
- Now accounts for lowered shot costs when Bestial Wrath is active
- Still to come: Steady Focus and Frenzy

- Shot rotation still not as accurate as I'd like, seems to delay signature shot a bit too much, sometimes suggests Steady/Cobra shots a bit too much

You seem to have forgotten something........ the "FaceShooter" folder. I tried downloding this addon through the Minion and it didn't work. I looked in my "AddOns" folder to see, and there it was - no folder for it, but all the files. Put the files in a folder (named "FaceShooter", of course) and now it shows up in my "AddOns" list in-game. But, no "FaceShooter" in-game. So, I downloaded it again - this time manually. When I unzipped the file THAT'S when I found the problem. No folder named for the addon. And two additional folders that I didn't know about before. THAT'S why it didn't work when I put it all together. So, I hope I have it all together right so that it works. I really want to try this addon.

Any chance for an update prior to 6.1?

Any chance for an update prior to 6.1 to get survival working correctly? In regards to the addon getting stuck on a 4th Explosive shot when explosive shot is on cooldown after lock and load?

Hi thx for keeping this addon alive
I just change my spec from MM to SV, and I chose focusing shot as Tier 7 Talent, but cobra shot is still coming up in the rotation...

Hi All,
I haven't been around for a while over the Christmas period, so sorry if I've missed fixing the issues you've mentioned, update will be coming soon.
6.1 is on PTR and there are a few minor changes coming which will need to be reflected in the code, but at the moment no major changes to rotations.

Let me know if anything else needs amending...

When I changed the setting "Max. time to wait for signature shot in ms" from the default this also happened to me. Returning it to the 200ms solved the issue, for me anyway. I'm haven't dug any deeper to see what could be causing this behaviour.
For me this didnīt solve the problem. Explosive shot sometimes stucks in l&l proc -> itīs waiting for the 4th Exploshot when explo is on cd.

I had a quick look at the code, and it appears to be a typo for the SV spec. Its recommending Cobra Shot as a focus dump when it decides to not use Focusing Shot in Faceshooter_Functions.lua

Replacing "CoS" with "AS" will put arcane shot back in as a dump.

since serpent sting got buffed yesterday, should put arcane shot at a more front position in the circle?

Thanks for the updates. I do miss the cooldown swirl because I rely on it more than the castbar itself. Keep up the good work Celetaras! (Faceshooter and Ovale are two of my favorite addons.)

Hi All,
Kill Shot fix is available in the latest version v1.2.7

There is a small pre-requisite for Kill Shot to work now, which most players would have already done.

You must have the Kill Shot spell on your Action Bars
or
If you have Kill Shot inside a macro, then
1. That macro must be somewhere on your action bars
2. That macro must use the Kill Shot icon (Should do that by default unless you have specifically changed it)
