Kripp UI - 1920 x 1080  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: Pandaland
by: Kripparrian [More]

This is the UI that I use for raiding and PvP on my hunter. The UI is and will be updated for 1920 x 1080 resolution, and is configured for the hunter class. It is optimized for maximum PvE DPS and raid awareness.

Addon memory use should be around 5.7MB with all configuration modules disabled. Addons are used for their utility over their memory use.

INSTALLATION
- go to your WoW folder
- BACKUP your old Interface and WTF folders, then delete them
- unzip KrippUI into your WoW folder
- Click -> WTF -> Account: change "ACCOUNTNAME" to your account name
- Click -> WTF -> Account -> ACCOUNTNAME: change "SERVERNAME" to your primary server name
- Click -> WTF -> Account -> ACCOUNTNAME -> ServerName: change "CHARACTERNAME" to your character name
- copy your old config.wtf file to the new WTF folder: ( ...World of Warcraft/WTF/config.wtf)
- copy your old bindings-cache.wtf file to the new folder: ( ...World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/ACCOUNTNAME/SERVERNAME/CHARACTERNAME/bindings-cache.wtf)
- start WoW and log in to your server
- at character selection screen click AddOns (bottom left). Check "Load out of date AddOns" and enable all
- log in your character
- type (case sensitive): /reflux switch kripp
- if that doesn't load profiles try loading them manually

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- If you want to see the numerical value of your focus/energy/mana: type [abscurpp] in the first health player text tag in the /suf config. interface.
- You should change the NeedToKnow bars to cooldowns and trinkets your character uses. Use /ntk to lock/unlock.
- You should also change the buff filters for your own class. Type /suf in-game and add/remove buffs to the playerB blacklist aura filter
- This UI is primarily for hunters using 1920 x 1080 resolution. You can make use of the UI without these requirements, but there will be a lot of configuring.

HOTKEY COMMANDS
- hold-alt-rightclick item at auction house = auto auction
- hold-shift-rightclick auction = auto buy, or auto cancel
- hold-shift-scroll up/down while mouse over chat frame = instant home/end

KNOWN ISSUES
- lua error when someone leaves raid
- adding new tags through the normal /suf interface wont work
- take all with mail will sometimes not work with mail containing multiple items

- AzCastBar
- aMail
- Auctionator
- bChat

Once again Great UI!

Did you change the folder names in the WTF folder to match your account, server, and character names?

Load Profiles?

I also cannot load any of your profiles- they just don't seem to exist. I did mess around with some cache files trying to get my macro's back- (No luck- but I found the original text file and I just copied them over)- So I hope it's not this. I would really like to get your bar setup. Thank you for the great work, there are basically no high-end raiding hunter blogs/sites out there for help. Outdps is junk, warcrafhuntersunion does not focus on End-game content and no source I've found is farther than my guild and we don't even have Putricide down yet (4% damnit!). We're also only 4/5 ToGC 25.

hey Kripp, great tips on everything. the simple macro's have helped my dps quite a bit. cuz before when i read forums people always said no need for a steadyshot macro but thats why your so good at what you do. now I have your UI up and running and am really enjoying it. my favorite thing is teh cast bar setup and health bar. but I was wondering how do I get the standard wow party frames back up so I can see who's in my part. and you also dont have the raid frames included inthe download. or as far as i could tell. but I was just wondering how i could do that. ty so much man.

The profiles missing seems to be a real error, perhaps you should reupload the UI.

Yo m8. Can you upload a photo and maybe the file how you've made it work with 1680 x 1050. I've been trying but can't get it to work.

Great UI, minimalistic yet very informative and usable.

Heatsink was giving me a lot of issues and just wasnt working.

So I decided to track cooldowns both internal and otherwise with needtoknow. The Deathbringer's Will trinket however was taking up a lot of bar groups just to track the buffs let alone the CD as well, the solution to this is just simply using a single bar and seperate the buff/cd with a comma. You can see the solution (from the author of the addon) here: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...14579#comments

Oops, seems someone else had already posted this solution as well! -- salomni

I have updated Heatsing for my own needs with up to date LibInternalCooldowns and removed parts of script that were causing the issues when changing specs (it was basically skill and pet skill cooldown parts - the availability checks were probably a bit outdated). It will track only internal cooldowns. Menu and everything else works correctly. So in case anyone is interested in it: http://www.mediafire.com/file/t1grok...k_modified.zip

thanks for this. I will update the UI pack with this in a bit

edit: it seems the version you edited does not allow me to change the internal CD time. The most recent version of heatsink had this bug. the older one did not

It should be possible to change it in Heatsink\libs\LibInternalCooldowns-1.0\Data.lua - cooldown timers are stored there. Default value is 45s, trinkets/items with other duration need to be specified there (otherwise standard 45s is used). LibInternalCooldowns library is updated regularly (at least last I've checked), so you can always get the lastest version or edit it if you need custom settings.

Anyway, seems that NeedToKnow is offering the same/similar functionality now.

Eyy kripp, been trying to fix this for my resolution, But cant find the way how to move the anchors in DXE or how to change the position of heatsink, I checked the interface tab, but it was empty, just said, "Heatsink"...

Also, i whant to move the omen, but when i push lock, or type /omen toggle or toggle omen, it doesn show up.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hey Kripp, Loving the UI (I think its perfect for PvP) but I noticed that the Omen doesn't have a profile from yourself so its out of place. could you re-upload or tell me what im doing wrong with it, Thanks!!
