About Outfitter

Outfitter is an equipment management addon which gives you fast access to multiple outfits to optimize your abilities in PvE and PvP, automated equip and unequip for convenience doing a variety of activities, or to enhance role-playing.

Outfitter includes an icon bar for fast access to your outfits, a minimap menu for fast compact access, support for LibDataBroker, scripting with a library of pre-made scripts for most common tasks, outfits optimized for a particular stat, item comparisons across outfits, quick access to items via the character sheet, and more.

Check the Settngs for your Riding outfit and make sure Disable in Battlegrounds and Disable in Dungeons are turned off.

While I got you there I would like to ask a question that has always bugged me with Outfitter.

When mounting up in any instance or BG the Riding Crop for the riding outfit is never enabled. Would be great to see this work as its expected but I am guessing it's a limitation with the Blizzard code otherwise you would have fixed it by now.

Anyway great addon, keep up the great work. Can't wait to see what you do when we have dual specs come in to the game

I currently use OutfitterFu via FuBar2Broker which does sort of work, but has issues and I also have to modify it to make it work properly. I did try making my own, but failed rather badly.

I use the FuBar plugin, and instead of showing the name of the outfit I have on, it just says "Initializing." Also, when I click on a slot in my paper doll, the items that fit in that slow, which usually appear in a sort of drop-down menu, don't. That is, the drop-down menu doesn't show up. What gives? I tried using Item Rack, but I'm too used to Outfitter. Fix me, please!

Lol, I know, but I haven't seriously played my warlock for a couple years now. I'm sort of lazy by nature and and being an engineering frost mage has to be the ultimate class for that -- teleports, crowd control and damage galore makes me happy in the pants.

But, isn't he a *cute* mage?

Let me know if you experience this and can find a way to reproduce it reliably so I can track it down. Thanks!

I wanted to add that if anyone has trouble with the tooltips in their LDB display after using Outfitter's LDB plugin to change outfits, see if you have "Hide World Frame Tips Instantly" selected in TipTac. (Yes, I had trouble with it, and hope this can maybe preserve sanity for someone, somewhere.) __________________ I'm not an idiot. I'm just harmlessly psychotic. I'll look into the settings issue (this is my first experience with using the Ace/Rock libraries, so I probably failed on that one).

Not sure about the current outfit text though, that was working fine for me in testing.

Clavicle A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 63 Uploads: 0	Similar Broker/FuBar problems I am seeing both the Broker and the FuBar buttons on my FuBar. The FuBar one shows only the word "Outfitter" while the broker one shows the name of my outfit. However the broker one (like all broker stuff) will only appear on the left of the bar, which is annoying. I also can't turn off the broker one. With the FuBar one I accidentally clicked "Detach Fubar Tooltip" and now the tooltip doesn't work and I cant turn that off. Last edited by Clavicle : 11-09-08 at 04:47 PM.
