This addon serves as a lightweight tool to help raid leaders. This is specifically written for Segmentation Fault of Elune based on how our raids are run. NOTE: this addon is constantly updated so some of the newest features may not have all the kinks worked out, but we use this in guild every raid so major problems are actively and quickly fixed

Ready check assist includes the following features:
- Ready Check announcement in raid chat (filters out players in groups 6+ in 25 mans and 3+ in 10 man raids).
- Autoinvites for guildies that pst "invite" to a raid leader or raid assist. Also accepts smileys.
- Autoconvert option which converts a party to a raid when a 6th person tried to join if the option is enabled
- Autopromote for specified guild ranks and specified players.
- Readycheck shortcut via the "/rca" command
- GUI for autopromote/autoinvite options
- Configurable sound when a ready check is initiated, including the pre 3.3 sound, and a really loud rotface sound (for everyone who likes to tab out and look for tips on boss fights).

UPDATE for 4.2
Added a guildies only option to the GUI, and have some minor cleanup in general.

Added keyword functionality and autopromotes. Added a GUI to manage the autopromote list.

UPDATE for 2.2:
This addon will repeat any messages related to the ready check to the raid. This includes players who were not ready, players who were afk, and who initiated the ready check.

Menu:
<Ready Check Assist> v4.1 - Usage:
/rca: Initiate Ready Check
/rca gui: Toggle the RCA gui
/rca vote: Initiate Ready Check Vote (with no announce)
/rca help: Show this menu
/rca kw: Toggle Keyword
/rca test: Play current ready check sound
/rca announce: Toggle Raid Annoucements
/rca sound 1/2/3/4: Set to Pre 3.3/Rotface Short/Rotface Long/Post 3.3 Sound

That would be something to add down the road. The next big thing is going to be making sure autopromotes only autopromote when someone joins the raid. With the holiday coming up, and a small trip I am uploading what I have right now. With our raids I never got to play with the addon more than what I had already done, but I think it should help with some of your problems

That reminds me of when we first tried running RCA and the addon was using the cached version of the online guild roster and autoinvites didn't go so well haha. But neways, I've been cleaning up rca and while doing that I did happen to add a working guildies only option instead of keeping it hardcoded so that will be in the next version that I upload (any day now). Also, the autoconvert options is in the gui (/rca gui) but I am adding it to the menu now too. I'm in the code now so i'll add a warning while I'm at it. And just a heads up on the autoconvert. I think it won't work if a lot of ppl pst the KW @ once. I'll prolly have an updated version before I have that working as well as I want it to, so hopefully u don't get spammed with the KW :P

So ... what's the command to enable this option? Cuz that would be way sweet if I could figure out how to make it do that.

Also ... can you put in an option to disable this addon whispering people and telling them they stink? Guildless people whispering me when I'm building raids is certainly a good thing to know, but not a good reason by itself to exclude someone in my book. Could you maybe just print out a warning to my chat frame if the option is toggled or something, instead of telling them they stink?

I was fixing a different problem with the Guild Rank button which broke how it regularly works, but it should be good now. While I was messing about, I threw in party chat announce. Can you make it so that it will still output the results of a ready check when in a party? I use ready check every now and then in heroics just to make sure everyone's still with me and paying attention when I'm about to do a huge pull when tanking. Also, I can't add any guild ranks to my autopromote list. It doesn't give me any errors, and everything else seems to work just fine, but I just can't add guild ranks. It is a bug, and will be fixed in the next patch (this Tuesday), when they release the new arena season and new wing.

Nope, it should work if the raid lead has it and you have it. It works by sending an addon message from assist to raid leads, which is why both of you guys need it. I'm not sure it's loaded on both sides, when you type /rca with no command 1 of 3 things must happen. It either sends a message to the raid lead (if you're assist), initiates a ready check (if you are the raid lead), or displays a message that says you don't have permissions.

First thing I would check is if you both of you are getting the message "<Ready Check Assist> You Do Not Have Permission" if you aren't in a raid. This would tell you if both of you have the addon working.

I will be promoted, and my fellow officer who is lead will have it installed and /rca doesn't seem to do anything. As well, I will be lead, and one of them will be promoted and they report that /rca isn't doing anything. Is there something I am missing I need to configure?
