WARNING This has been deprecated. SUF 4.0 has it built in, you can delete this addon and update SUF.

Adds aura indicators to Shadowed Unit Frames, primarily this is for healers who want information such as what raid member is missing Mark of the Wild, or who has X debuff that they need to heal the raid member for quickly. Unlike the old version, you can now use this for all units not just raid members, and it's not restricted to only friendly players. You can set it up to show an indicator on the player frame while Slice and Dice is up, or show an indicator on an enemy if they are Cycloned.

Indicators can be configured to show an aura stack, show an indicator for missing auras, show the aura icon, show a set color and even the duration on the aura. If you want to see the time left on the aura as a visual number you will need a mod like OmniCC. Auras can be enabled per class as well, should you want to see players missing Mark of the Wild on a Druid but not on a Priest. There is no limit on the amount of auras or indicators you can have.

By default, this is only enabled on raid units. You can enable it for more units by going to /suf -> Aura indicators -> Enable by unit.

Slash commands: Opened with /suf (/shadowedunitframes), adds new configuration option "Aura indicators"

You can make Aura groups, Auras in groups and you can delete Auras in a group, but it doesn’t seem to be an option to delete an Aura group, even if it is empty.

Would be nice with that possibility too.

Edit: Found out that the empty Aura group is removed from the list when you reload your UI.

Totem indicators when not an aura?

Would there be some way for me to add aura indicators for active totems which don't have an aura? For example the Magma Totem doesn't actually buff it is only an AE.

These are the presets I added in ShdaowedUF_Indicators.lua. Did it yesterday and only tested Marrowgar, Saurfang, Rotface, Princes and Festergut yet. And only the princes on hard mode.

I'm a little confused on how to add auras. Sitting around in Ironforge, I spotted a Paladin with Blessing of Kings on him. So I made a little aura called Blessed of Kings, enabled target, and nothing in the center of his frame popped up. Am I doing something wrong?

Started using ShadowedUF + Aura Indicators recently and it's looking promising, so thanks for the great work on the addon. Just a few questions:

1. If I add an aura indicator for an ability that is also marked with a raid icon by a boss mod, the raid icon seems to be replaced by the aura indicator (or rather, the raid icon is not showing). I'm using the center position for the aura indicator for these abilities. Can't find any options for adjusting the position of raid icons on units (or even to enable/disable them), but is there a way to control if raid icons are overwritten by aura indicators occupying same position as the raid icons (if the sharing of positoin is indeed the reason why the raid icons aren't showing up)?

2. Is it possible to colour the entire unit plate if the unit has a magic debuff, curse, disease or poison (like in xperl)? So far I seem only to be able to highlight the border of a unit that has a debuff I can cure, and/or select if I want debuff icons to show. This is important functionality for healers, and probably the only thing that would make me swap back to xperl. Switching to SUF thas taken me from being the fastest dispeller in our 25-mans to not being able to spot debuffs at all, so I hope this is just a setting I have missed out on, and not a lack of functionality.

3. Is there a way to only highlight the border of a unit that has aggro, instead of colouring the entire unit plate red?

That is not under Aura Indicators, but you can rather configure it per unit. For example under Unit configuration -> Raid -> Indicators.
I had to move them a little apart, to be able to see raid icons and aura indicators. I think I gave "raid target" an offset of -16.

And in case someone else needs this: I was missing some aura indicators for pvp-related stuff that I was used to see in the Injector raid frames. So I copied its list of pvp indicators. I mostly "need" it during the third boss in Trial of the Crusader. I am not actually much into PvP.

I looked into my issue with Prayer of Spirit/Divine Spirit having no icon/etc. Seems if I add the spells in the actual module there is no problem, the only issue is when it's added as a custom aura there is an issue. Looking at my SV it seems because it adds a few extra things when added from within SUF. I'll dig around a bit more and get you the relevant bits.

Question though; why not have Prayer of Spirit/Divine Spirit in there by default? Weird to have a priest aura missing. :>

first of all ive just downloaded the addon today and i do like what im seing so far.

My problem is i have no clue how to implement those codes u guys have made for icc encounters in the lua.file

Continued support in Cataclysm?

Hi, since SUF will obviously be continued by Antiarc and Nevcairiel in Cataclysm, will this addon be supported as well or -better- incorporated into SUF?

I am in no way related to the addon (I am none of the new authors!), but I
fixed the lua code, so it works with the 4.0.1 patch. Now what to do with it?
Maybe the new authors are interested in it? I of course do not want to release
anything without the authors agreeing with it.

course. I could email you my code changes.

Basically it seems some SpellId's are no longer existing, and you have to cut it out. Easy to do if you have BugSack installed. Took me only some minutes.

Question of my own: These Stuff for ICC someone posted... how do I include it? I tried including it in the lua code, but I still only have the "old" aura groups.

Aura Indicators is indeed working. All i had to do is create aura name and buff then click enable by unit. GJ!
