I have very little time to play WoW and even less time to code addons. As such I've dropped all development of all my addons. If you want to continue any addon or make a fork then feel free to do so. This is your permission slip.

Piggy bank will hide a set amount of money every day from yourself for as long as you like until you disable it ingame or in the addon menu.

If that doesn't sound good to you, you can also set it up so it doesn't hide gold every day and instead you could manually hide an set amount yourself whenever you want.

It will not prevent you from spending money so you will still need to have some self discipline and not disable it unless you actually need to know how much gold you have.

Please note that this is the first version available to the public and it has only been tested by a few selected people so it could contain some unnoticed bug

I don't see any reason to hook more global blizzard functions just to prevent me/you/us from spending the actual gold you have when it's so easy to disable it and still spend it.

This was just meant as easy and minimal set it and forget it addon.

That is one of the reasons why it does not show you how much gold you've saved until you break or open your piggy bank (read: disable addon)

Sure you can... or at least I think you can. If I'm understanding this correctly, this addon only hides amounts.

Before I started using a guildbank I used an addon called DepositBox which would actually stop me from spending whatever amount I put in the "Box". Maybe this is somehting the Author can look into.
