Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

Oh, and before I forget to ask, does the tooltip from LFD-tool also go 'up' to the 'left'

< tooltip >
_________[ L - map --- ]

Because when I'm in a dungeon with a group, it always goes like that, and I can't teleport out of the dungeon that way O.o
Cool, try commenting out self:AddLine(' ') as well:
Code:
--self:AddLine(' ')
GameTooltipStatusBar:Hide()
GameTooltipStatusBar:ClearAllPoints()
GameTooltipStatusBar:SetPoint('LEFT', self:GetName()..'TextLeft'..self:NumLines(), 1, -3)
GameTooltipStatusBar:SetPoint('RIGHT', self, -10, 0)
Yeah the tooltip for goes that way for me as well, I will have a look at it. Meanwhile, leaving the party has the same effect So leave quickly and skip the "thanks for the run"

!Colorz seems to be causing some taint as well, not really sure how or why.

Anyway, it should run more than fine. Soulshard bar, holy power bar and eclipse bar is present too. I've been playing for a couple of days without trouble

You should be aware though that I've done some minor personal changes.

Will, update the README to contain a little bit more of the changes I've made and how to install from Github when I have time.
Thanks! I'm so glad that I can use Neav's UI again, awesome mate!

One question tho; How can I change my pet's actionbar to display horizontal instead of vertical?

Oh yeah, should probably have set it to horizontal by default.

But it's in the readme on Github, open up nMainbar_Config.lua and set this to false:

Code:
petbar = {
	mouseover		= false,
	scale			= 1,
	alpha			= 1,
	vertical		= false,
},

Its nice that you collect all fixes and share them but dont be stupid and take the work of other people and sell it as yours - credit them or delete their code. People will hate you if you dont do so.

nChat

i use to use Tukui and in tukui was a mouseover link for the chat. i have been able to add it to nChat by adding the following code to the bottom of the nChat.lua file.

Code:
   --mouseover item link in chat

local orig1, orig2 = {}, {}
local GameTooltip = GameTooltip

local linktypes = {item = true, enchant = true, spell = true, quest = true, unit = true, talent = true, achievement = true, glyph = true}

local function OnHyperlinkEnter(frame, link, ...)
	local linktype = link:match("^([^:]+)")
	if linktype and linktypes[linktype] then
		GameTooltip:SetOwner(frame, "ANCHOR_TOP", 0, 50)
		GameTooltip:SetHyperlink(link)
		GameTooltip:Show()
	end

	if orig1[frame] then return orig1[frame](frame, link, ...) end
end

local function OnHyperlinkLeave(frame, ...)
	GameTooltip:Hide()
	if orig2[frame] then return orig2[frame](frame, ...) end
end

function HyperlinkMouseover()
	local _G = getfenv(0)
	for i=1, NUM_CHAT_WINDOWS do
		if ( i ~= 2 ) then
			local frame = _G["ChatFrame"..i]
			orig1[frame] = frame:GetScript("OnHyperlinkEnter")
			frame:SetScript("OnHyperlinkEnter", OnHyperlinkEnter)

			orig2[frame] = frame:GetScript("OnHyperlinkLeave")
			frame:SetScript("OnHyperlinkLeave", OnHyperlinkLeave)
		end
	end
end
HyperlinkMouseover()
Below is a screenshot of what this addition does.

Hope this helps other like it does me.

Eclipse, Pallypower Bars

I was tryign to figure out how to get the Eclipse and Pally Power Bars to look more how they do on the blizzard Default frames so what i had to do was add a SetStrata("BACKGROUND") to the already provided code from Vranx over on the oUF_Neav addon page. Below is the current code i am using with a screen shot of the Eclipse bar.

Code:
			-- holy power bar
		if (select(2, UnitClass('player')) == 'PALADIN') then
			PaladinPowerBar:SetParent(oUF_Neav_Player)
			PaladinPowerBar:SetScale(oUF_Neav.units.player.scale * 0.8)
			PaladinPowerBar_OnLoad(PaladinPowerBar)
			PaladinPowerBar:ClearAllPoints()
			PaladinPowerBar:SetPoint('TOP', oUF_Neav_Player, 'BOTTOM', 35, 3)
			PaladinPowerBar:SetFrameStrata("BACKGROUND")
			PaladinPowerBar:Show()
		end

			-- druid eclipse bar
		if (select(2, UnitClass('player')) == 'DRUID') then
			EclipseBarFrame:SetParent(oUF_Neav_Player)
			EclipseBarFrame:SetScale(oUF_Neav.units.player.scale * 0.8)
			EclipseBar_OnLoad(EclipseBarFrame)
			EclipseBarFrame:ClearAllPoints()
			EclipseBarFrame:SetPoint('TOP', oUF_Neav_Player, 'BOTTOM', 35, 3)
			EclipseBarFrame:SetFrameStrata("BACKGROUND")
			EclipseBarFrame:Show()
		end
Screenshot of Eclipsebar under Unitframe:

Hope this helps someone.

@badness: Updated the URL copy script.

@cokedriver: I actually added a copy chat function, just right-click on the chat tab and click "Copy chat contents".

When you said that you did some tweaking to the eclipse/holy bar, I had a look at it myself and it looks to me like the default strata is correct. The eclipse bar for example is supposed to be infront of player frame, and the holy power bar is already behind (it seems).

Here's a screenshot comparing with some new values to scale and position (without setting frame strata as you suggested), left is Neav and right is Blizzard:

accually its not a copy url function what it does is when you mouse over a item link in chat instead of you haveing to click on it it auto opens a window above the chat. so if you want to glance at what people are selling you dont have to click to open it up just mousing over the item link will open a tooltip of that item.

As for the eclipse bar that would be my bad sorry. I thought they where also behind the frame. Again sorry about that one.
