Hey all this is Towelliee on Stormrage

My UI is a mix of LUI http://www.wowlui.com and other addons. But mainly credit goes out to Loui. I been using LUI since it came out and I have never looked back. As much as I tried to see if there was something better out there, there never was(list of addons in this pack at the bottom).

Towelliee's UI Installer updated with a fix to the elusive Additional Toon install bug

Never Click:

After Reload Click:

**The Towelliee's UI Installer **

On Windows 8/10 if using default wow install path(c:\program files...), Windows will block unzipping directly to the WoW folder.
To avoid issues, unzip to your desktop then copy/move the content to your wow folder.

For Mac instructions scroll to the bottom!!!

You can now post UI question's on Towelliee's UI Forum thread.

Installer/Game Instructions

Step 1 : MOVE the INTERFACE/FONTS folder out of the WoW folder. We need the WoW folder to not have the 2 folders inside.
Step 2 : Copy the Contents of the Zip file into the WoW folder (overwrite if asked).
Step 3 : Download the toon setup tool from HERE and put the exe file in your wow folder(where wow.exe is).
Step 4 : run Towelliee.exe (the Toon setup installer) from your wow folder, and select the appropriate install type, for initial install it is recommended to do a Clean Install (some installer info below).
Step 5 : Once you're in game just click that HAMMERS UP!!! button.
Step 6 : Quit the game completely before doing additional Toon setup.

If you are having issues getting your toon setup run the toon installer as admin
(right click towelliee.exe -> run as administrator)

The ui install instruction video on youtube is obsolete, do not use it as instructions to install the current UI verions

Installer Info

you have 3 install types to choose from, press the ? button for details about them.

the installer will detect if it's in the correct location, if it's not you will get errors when trying to choose account

When in the correct location you will be able to choose the account/server/toon from a list of previously played characters on this wow installation
(if a toon is not listed, log on to it, then exit the game)

What do you do if you're on a Mac?

The old manual method:

1st thing backup your <wow folder>\WTF\Account folder.

Manually copy and rename folders from <wow folder>\WTF\LUI-Towelliee\Setup.
Copy ACCOUNTNAMEHERE_NOTEMAIL to <wow folder>\WTF\Account and rename it to your Account name (look what the name was in the Account folder back up you made).
Inside the account folder rename "SERVER NAME HERE" to your server's name.
Inside the server folder rename "TOON NAME HERE" to your toon's name.

Login to your toon and hit that Hammers Up! button

For any additional toon on the same server just copy the "TOON NAME HERE" folder from "<wow folder>\WTF\LUI-Towelliee\Setup\ACCOUNTNAMEHERE_NOTEMAIL\SERVER NAME HERE" to the WTF\Account\<Account name>\<Server> and rename it to the toon's name.

For toon on diffarent server on same account copy the "SERVER NAME HERE" folder from "<wow folder>\WTF\LUI-Towelliee\Setup\ACCOUNTNAMEHERE_NOTEMAIL"
and rename "SERVER NAME HERE" to your other server, and inside that rename the "TOON NAME HERE" to your toon's name.

For a toon on diffarent account just do the entire procedure on top.

SSJ4Bass A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 4 Uploads: 0	Been having trouble with display driver crashes since 6.0 dropped while using this UI. I don't know if it's the addons and to be honest I'm having trouble believing that it might be but so far I'm not sure. They happen completely at random and I don't know when or how they will happen until it happens. When these crashes do happen, the screen locks up at first, then starts flashing on and off as if the crash itself is happening repeatedly. The message I get is the "Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered" or something like that. Anyone else been having this issue? Been trying to work with Blizz for about a week, or even more, and no real progress. I kept the addons up to date with curse and it still crashed. Uninstalled curse and reinstalled the ui and it still crashed. Updated my drivers and even rolled them back, neither worked. Virus/malware scans showed nothing. Computer is all up to date and everything. I tried reinstalling wow, the bnet launcher, and running the repair program. I've pretty much done everything and nothing has worked. I only have this issue with wow and all of my other games have been running just fine.

When, turning off LUI bags (bagnon) and, using the default bags on the main or 1st toons anchor is approx 1"x1" off bottom right corner of the screen. On any subsequent toons the anchor is always in the bottom corner (all the way in the corner) the only way I know to move it is using move anything. Any way I can manually re-write some code? If the main toon can have the anchor without another add-on I should be able to right?

emm, that looks like you have both LUI and ElvUI mixed

did you change something?
Maybe deleted some lua files from the save variables folder?
Anyhow , the addon that controls UI installation in game is called nibProfileLoader, try disabling that one for now.

No, I haven't made any changes recently that I can think of. Haven't messed with files, directories, nothing. This wasn't the only issue I had - at least one other addon went wonky and required settings to be adjusted on all characters. I don't know what happened. But your suggestion did solve my issue, that was exactly what I needed to know. Thank you very much!

Your SharedMedia_MyMedia and SharedMedia folders are together 40mb in size, you shoud clean this up to only have fonts and textures and sounds you use in the UI same for SharedMediaAdditionalFonts, LUI and the TidyPlates thems you don't use I haven't tested the UI but from the screenshots I wonder why you have the Micro menu from the Original UI and the one from LUI displayed..? the chat/keybind/macro issues are caused by the synchronize cvars changes blizzard did, i fixed this in the WoD beta version, but not in the live one yet.
