Chronometer  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 28271
by: Bhattu [More]

Chronometer tracks spell effects (HoTs, DoTs, buffs, debuffs, etc.) that you cast. You can see exactly how long is left on your spells so that you know when they're fading so that you can recast or do whatever else it is you need to do. Chronometer uses the Ace2 framework, including CandyBar for the timer bars themselves.

2-17-07 (version 28271)
Added:

  • Ghostly Strike
  • Prayer of Mending
  • Devastate (refreshes Sunder Armor)
  • Wrath of Air Totem
  • Totemic Call (removes all totem timers)

Is it possible to get it to show the name of the spell instead of the name of the mob? (without using the gui which is broken)

Devestate

Could we have the changes to the functionality of devestate changed? As of right now, devestate does not start a sunder armor timer. If i stack up 5 sunders first, and then devestate, the timer works fine, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the new devestate

Thanks!

bleh sorry, i should have read some of the threads below. this has already been mentioned

however, as an example, check out Elkano's Buff Bars. This shows a number on the Lifebloom icon noting how many are stacked. Natur Enemy Cast bar can do the same.

/ignore

i like this addon so far, but i would like to see one thing, if possible.

Druid Lifebloom can stack up to 3 times by one druid. However, Chron doesn't reflect Lifebloom stacking. Will this be implemented?

I love Chronometer and have been unable to find a replacement mod that tracks both HoTs and DoTs so well, so I'd really like to get it working again.
I had the same problem but just found the solution: The reason is that Chronometer needs the "SpellEventsLib" since a few days (which is not included in the download here). If you use WowAceUpdater and install Chronometer with externals, or download SpellEventsLib direcly, chronometer works again

Agreed. That's all I can think of for Chron to improve. Showing that I have the 3 lifeblooms going would be amazingly valuable when I'm trying to stack on multiple targets.

Re: Druid suggestion: Lifebloom clarity

Druid issue and suggestion for improvement: Lifebloom stacks up to 3 times on single target, and druid healers often use that to have full stack of 3 Lifeblooms ticking on the tank at any time. At this moment, Chronometer only displays one bar for each Lifebloomed target, effectively overwriting earlier Lifeblooms on the same target with the latest.

It would be great to have each cast of Lifebloom run its own bar, ... or have another clear way of determining the number stacked and progression of Lifeblooms that were cast to each target.

This would make Chronometer absolutely IMBA )
Um, stacking Lifebloom refreshes the stack on the target.

So, you cast LB wait 2s, cast it again on the same target, and the stack is back up to 6s duration. It will not bloom until you stop casting/refreshing the stack for 6s. That being said, I don't recall if Chronometer indicates the stack count or not, that would be somewhat useful.

Hey,

I use this mod and love it! But i've recently got my 4 Peice T4 warlock set, which increases the duration of my Corruption and Immolate by 3secs..

Corruption being 21secs instead of 18secs.

How do i change the timer so it times it correctly, i'm very used to refreshing my dots when the timer runs out, but atm i'm wasting 3 secs each time. Any ideas, or anyone know where in the .lua i change? (and ofc what i change it to?)

Many thanks!
Shadow

In fact, I can't use the slash commands, neither of them will work. Chronometer used to work fine previously, I don't know, why it stopped working?

Pretty nice looking mod. The one thing I'd really like to see added, though, is a stack count for DoTs/debuffs that stack (eg Sunder Armor).
