Atropine  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Atropine is yet another add-on attempting to simplify your daily purchase of poisons. The add-on currently has three different methods of buying poison:

* Buy: The buy method will always buy the amount of poisons you specify, it will not check what you currently have in your bags, and it will not check if you already have enough reagents either.
* Refill: will fill up your current stack of poisons up to the point specified. If you refill 40xInstant Poison, and you currently carry 37xInstant Poison in your bags, then Atropine will buy the reagents needed for 3xInstant Poison. The Refill method will always check your bags for reagents before buying.
* Auto-refill: will do the same as the Refill method, but it will however do this automatically when you visit a vendor who sells poison reagents.

Minor features

* You can also set the number it should buy / refill by scrolling your mouse wheel over the count, instead of writing it in or clicking the arrows.
* The add-on will not auto-refill if you hold down <Shift> when talking to the vendor. This is useful if you need to change the values.
* You can move the frame by holding down <Alt>.

Changes from 1.1

* Updated koKR translations (by gygabyte
* Updated frFR translations (by Zarkos, Archimonde EU)
* The frame position is now saved over sessions.
* Minor tweaking to some font sizes.

Atropine is fully translated for the following client versions:

* enUS
* enGB
* frFR (translated by Zarkos, Archimonde EU)
* koKR (translated by gygabyte)

Atropine lacks some translation strings in the following languages:

* deDE (translated by Feediko)

Atropine still requires localizations for these client versions, but should be fully functional:

* esES
* zhCN
* zhTW

Blizzard changed the behavior of those globals in the last patch. I wont' be able to anything about it until the weekend however.

Would you be interested in converting this addon for all classes? Making it handle all reagents instead of strictly poisons?

I realize there are more then a ton of addons that do auto-refills etc, but your GUI preset here is something unique, and having it grab more then poisons would be lovely. Having it allow input for any item would enable it to grab whatever the person wanted.

My programming friends always hate when i break things down into natural language but here goes:
  1. vendor dialog opens
  2. run check against item list
  3. if item found check numbers set, other options
  4. run check custom item ID
  5. if item found check numbers set, other options
you get the idea I guess.

The settings should be saved per character, so I don't see why this is an issue, unless the per character saving doesn't work as it should.
I'll have a look at it regardless now.

Hey there. Great mod, I love it lots.

I have 2 rogues and one uses lots of deadly poison (mutilate build) and the other uses lots of instant (combat swords).

Is there a way to make atropine recognize which rogue is currently on so it doesn't try to make 60 instant poison on my mutilate rogue and vice versa or do I just have to keep manually adjusting them every time I play?

Edit: I just reloaded the folder and it seems to be working fine now. Sorry about that. I guess it was a momentary glitch.

Other than a TOC update? As far as I know it still works without any issues.
I do plan on releasing a new version soonish, but it will mostly be a clean-up of the current code.

Pre-2.1.0 Atropine will not include a feature to 'easily' create poisons. The different poisons don't share the same set of reagents, so you can basically just open the poisons window and click "Create all" all the way. The ability to 'easily' create poisons will however be added in the 2.1.0 version, which most likely will be released today (CET, that's GMT+2 atm). The reason for this is that the material requirements are changed in 2.1.0, making some poisons share base materials. I've also made other changes as completely rewriting how the parsing is done, and made the GUI smaller.

Auto-buy should however work, just remember that there's a delay when you buy large amounts of materials. Atropine also delays the auto-buying with two seconds to let the WoW client fetch all the information from the server, if it's not present in your local cache. There might also be a add-on conflict making this happen, for example by an add-on that replaces the tradeskill frame with it's own.

How?

All i can figure out that this addon does is buy the ingredients... it doesnt seem to buy them when you open the vendor wether you have auto fill checked or not, you have to hit the buy button, how does it make the poisons for you? is this a manual process?

All you do is open the vendor and the poisons window, hit the addons buy button to buy the ingredients and then make to make the poisons..
