This addon requires the default interface for crafting to function. It will simply use the toy to equip the Chef's Hat if you try to cook without equipping it first.

I doubt an updated version will be possible, with the chef's hat being a toybox item now. Both functions of the addon, equipping the hat (now using the toybox item) and removing the hat (cancelling the buff it gives) are protected functions, which means an addon can't run them automatically. What I've ended up doing is adding my chef's hat to my cooking macro I've had for years;

/use [mod]cooking fire;[button:1]cooking
/use [button:1]chef's hat
/stopmacro [button:1]
/cancelaura cooking speed

Opens your cooking menu and equips the hat with left click, uses cooking fire if you click with a modifier held, removes the hat with a right click.

Vlad A Molten Giant Forum posts: 793 File comments: 337 Uploads: 31	I noticed after I published mine, actually I first made it for myself but decided to go public because (1) "Chef's Hat" is the item, no addon is named that, bazinga it's now mine (2) I guess more isn't as bad, considering addons do die out so more means more options when one does. Code wise the only difference is that my version depends on you being able to craft anything, so peaking at the tradeskill would not equip the hat, but mousing over the craft buttons while you can use them would for a second disable them, equip the hat, re-enable them when it's done and allow you to craft on from there onward. When the tradeskill frame is closed, only then would it return the original gear back on. I guess that sums up all the differences between our two addons, but on face value they do the same gig.
