Inventory Hawk (Continued)

Version: V.4.1.6
by: Quickshot14 [More]

This is a wonderfull addon that has been neglected and abandoned for a very long time. Its origanl author blaising also know as Setphen Blaising left WoW and this addon when his account was the unfortante victim of a hacker.

Since then his wonderfull addon that I enjoyed very much was abandonded and no one has picked it up. Its been a long road and a lot of pain staking debuging work but I present Inventory Hawk (Continued) this wonderfull addon restored and ready for play and use with the latest version of WoW!

Bellow is the orignal description for this addon but there are some important additions I have made as well I will list them here:

*In and out of combat alpha! (User can set the alpha of the entire Inventory Hawk List to be 0% to 100% alpha transparent while in and out of combat!

*Text Alerts for the warnings/goal met options! (With compatablity with BagSpace, it will show a floating text when an Item hits its to low warning or if it hits its goal met number, if not using BagSpace it will simply show in your channel text window the notice.)

NEW in V.4.1.6 -
First two additions, the wonderfull mod CharacterProfiler by calvin has been 'integreted' into Inventory Hawk, this will allow bank amounts and alt amounts to function as orignaly intended in the mod without having to find or download CharacterProfiler. Though you still can and it can of course be found here: http://www.rpgoutfitter.com/CharacterProfiler/ for more information read the CP_Readme.txt file included.

Second addition is the introduction of multipliers to categorys. By default when adding new catagories the multipler is 0 but if your adding a new track regents that catagory will be 1. This allows the user a dynamic and easy way of changeing multiples amounts of items without having to change the goal amount! For example, if you have a catagory with three items and all three goals are, 3, 5 and 7 respectfully. If you change the catagories multipler it will now show you the goal amounts times its multipler, so say the
multplier is 3 now the goals will be 9, 15, and 21 respectfully but the base goal amounts in the acutal item options will not have changed! This should be very usefull for track regenets catagories! To change the mutipler for a catagory simply right click the catgory name to bring up its options, the new mutlipler field is right under the alias field, simply change it to a number and it will update your amounts in the list appropratetly!

Please note that there will be and are some bugs/glitches/things to do in this mod! If you find anything please report it ethier by my email or comments! So I may find them and fix it! I hope you all enjoy!! Now the orignal Description:

This addon is a must for all crafters, miners, herbalists, alchemists, cooks and fisherman.

Inventory Hawk is an incredibly dynamic addon that shows inventory items you wish to keep on display. It also allows for right click and <control> right click actions, including crafting actions, on the item. You can set goals, conversion amounts, warning levels and many more options per item.

The alt's item counter addition allows you to have displayed the total of your alts item counts and also display in the Tooltips the individual alts counts per item.

This addon will also display money count and empty slots count and per bag slot counts. The counter provides many features that make it easy to track and assess your important inventory items.

Adding items is simple, just drag an item from your bags and drop it on the list or top buttom, or just manually type it in.

You can also put the list in the background where it will have a customizable transparency and not interfere with mouse clicks or mouse targeting.

Right clicking on the top button displays a main option menu that is very straight forward.

Clicking on the items in the item list will display an option menu for that particular item.

Inventory Hawk uses Merphle's BankStatement code to count bank items. Inventory Hawk does not interfere with nor replace any of the features found in Merphle's BankStatement. In fact, if you have Merphle's BankStatement loaded, the internal code for bank counting will no longer run and Inventory Hawk will use the output of Merphle's BankStatement instead.
I would like that thank Merphle for providing some quick and easy code for counting bank items in his Merphle's BankStatement.
To use the bank feature, you must first open a bank frame (go to the bank) to initialize the bank count.

Instructions:

Adding an item ( three ways to do it ):

- <Control><Shift>Click on an item in your bags.
- Click and drag an item from any of your bags on to the list or title button.
- Click on an item from any of your bags and then click on the title button.
- Choose "Manually Add New Item" from the main option menu.

Sorting an item:

- Click on the item then move the slider on the dialog box.

Features:
* Counts items in your inventory, bank and alts for display.
* Toggle hide/show of list.
* Toggle hide/show of categories.
* Autohide list.
* Autohide Title button.
* List up to 30 items at a time.
* Execute a craft skill or use the item when you right click on a list item.
* Easily add items by either: drag and drop from your bags, clicking on the item in bag and the title button, or manually type it in.
* Track reagents based on a trade craftable item. (not to replace a full-fledged trade tracker). Select the trade craft you wish to

track and then select "Track Craft Reagents".
* Change the title bar to a money display.
* Change the title bar to a reagent watcher.
* Count your total empty slots, even bag empty slots.
* Informative tooltips.
* Include informative category bars.
* Sort items.
* Set low level warnings for individual items.
* Set goal levels for individual items.
* Set conversion amount for individual items. Primarily for when you have an item that, when reaching a certain amount, you can

convert into a higher quality item.
* Changeable item alias name, so you can shorten the name or give it a more descriptive title.
* Display the list with icons or just have the list displayed in the background with a changeable transparency.
* Changeable alignment of the list between left and right.
* Changeable title and list font sizes.
* Change transparency of main list background.
* Change transparency of Title button background.
* And a boat load more...seriously!

Recommended Dependent Addon:
* CharacterProfiler

Compatible with:
* CharacterProfiler

Acknowledgements:
* Madorin ( maker of Mad Reagents ) for allowing me to use his idea for displaying reagents on the title button.
* Vorpale for French translation.
* Maischter and VincentGdG for German translation.
* Telo's Clock ( the basic framework that I use to build my Addons ).
* QuestIon by Celdor ( the basis for using drop down menus, and for the fixing Blizzards drop down menu code ).
* Merphle's BankStatement ( for the bank counting code ).
* ReagentCalc by Mattperry ( for the function for which I use to select the reagent to track crafts ).
* Enitjus ( for the Bagnon addition )
* All of the users that have given great suggestions that have made this Addon become exceptional better than it was originally

intended.

V.4.1.2-
Actived the so far unused libarys, and also 'integreted' calvin's Charchter Profiler that inventory hawk uses to display bank and alt counts for tracked items.
V.4.1.6-
Added a new multipler setting in catagories. This allows the user to easily track how much goal amounts are needed for multiple items, so for example if you add a new craft track regents the mutilplier is default to 1, if you change it to 10 the amounts needed will change in the display but the orignal goal amounts will now! This allows for dynamic changeing for multiples of items without having to change the base goal ammount! Adding a new category as normal defaults the multipler to 0 (ignored) and any item not in a catagory does not use any multiplier.

Something completely different. When I have two things Like the Revenant Breastplate and Revenant Tread, I can't seem to get it to show the items for both. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the fact they both use the same items just different quantities but I'm unsure how to resolve the problem.
But overall I'm loving this addon. This and TSI are already making my life alot less expensive.
First, thats awsome, i figured it should work and its good to know that it does indeed i'll have to rember that myself lol.

As for your second question i'm not sure, if your using track craft regeants then it should have two seprate catagories for both of those, if done in that fashion having multiple of the same type of item in diffrent catagories shouldnt matter. However after a little investigation myself it apprently DOES matter to inventory hawk and its been programed to not have multiples of the same type, this could be a problem for some people esppicaly with some of the new multipler system i've put in place in the latest build (should be up here soon)

I'll see if I can fix the problem or at least make it so it will allow multiples of the same type, as long as there in diffrent catagories in this new release, if I cant i'll keep looking into it, but i'll release what I have so far. Thnaks!

EDIT: Well I wasnt able to easily fix it for this release but its on my to do list for this mod now and i'll look into it on the next release. Sorry.

Hi, I just started using this Addon and trying to work out the kinks for me. I'm working with the "Track Craft Regents", which is great for the trade skills I have. Is there a way to use other peoples skills to add regents? I use TSI (Trade skill Info) which is awesome for knowing what to farm and have people make you that high end crafted item. But I can't really find an easy (click-able way) to add that list to Hawk as efficiently I do my own. If there was a way to say control-Shift-click in the chat box the patter/design/recipe (ie [Leatherworking: Revenant's Breastplate]). I also tried using the Tradeskill UI link from other players and then the "Track Craft Regent", like I would my own but that didn't work either. Since I haven't used it before I wasn't sure if I was over looking anything. ---Edit: I must have just did it wrong the first time but I can now use other players Tradeskill UI to updated Inventory Hawk--

It seems to play well with Dominos for bag text (free slots) and bars.
No your not imagning things about the totals and thats acutally marked as a know bug, i belive the code its using to get this info is out of date and i just havnt look into it yet, it appears most of free slots errors are occuring with macaroon and the like so i'm going to have to look into that as well expect an update with these bug fixes sometimes soon. And glad you like it and keep reportingthis stuff all helps.
