I actually caught a level 1 trying to smuggle through stuff, and I ended up with 40 ebonweaves, 20 crusader orbs, etc., for less than 5 silver!

Would this addon get you banned for economy manipulation?

- does it coexist well with other AH addons?

- please make a real screenshot. And don't hesitate to cut it.
Sorry but we don't care of your UI. Does your addon have a button? Is there any output in the chatframe? Your current screenshot doesn't answer to that.

- what's "error while buying"? It's when item is not available ?

- add a msg when we start/stop scan.

- yit seems I've some problems, because it buy some stuff which are NOT below vendor price, or which just equal vendor price...

Hi! , had a little play with this addon and seems to do as said perfectly, although you run the risk off seriously p*ssing ppl off by buying there cheap auctions lol.

On the two auctions i did acquire with this addon, 1 stack of frost lotus and 1 cardinal ruby, i was called a low life hakkar and a bottom feeder haha which i can live with.

Ok now to the morals of this addon and what blizz think... ive extensively searched blizz forums and have come to the conclusion that blizz are happy with you using a addon to search the auction house but functions have been removed from the blizz api since 2.0.0 which allows you to auto buy cheap auctions which is what bottom scanner use to do, but blizz are ok with ppl using an addon to auto scanning ah for cheap auctions as long as there is some interaction from the person behind the keys i.e. you clicking yes to buy the auction ( you could make a macro using this /click StaticPopup1Button1 and set it in your action bars ), read below straight from a blue post.

Automatic purchasing is not allowed, but the API's which previously allowed automatic bidding/buying were removed with 2.0 so it's a moot point.

Automatically finding good deals and telling you about them is fine, though.


The forums also state that the writers of Auctioneer approached blizz regarding there bottom scanner which auto brought auctions and blizz said they were not happy with it so the writers of auctioneer removed it from there packages.

so bottom line is as i regard this addon is that if someone is to risk placing a said auction for 1copper and it gets sold, tough!

just be prepaired to get alot of whispers from some pretty hacked off ppl lol.

Hi! , Great addon mate! after more testing over the last week ive compiled a little list of maybe some additions to this addon....

I understand the "error while buying" is that the auction has already been aquired and you were too slow on the keys/mouse...

My additions i'd like to see in this are....

1) Maybe a little lua config file to switch filtering of item quality like..

greys = 0 (or 1 depending)
whites = (same as above)
greens =
blues =
purples =

maybe this could be done? would help filtering out the crap ppl put in ah
and wait for the good stuff


2) If its a stackable item, could there be info in the buy box stating how many items in the stack? keep the staticframe and buttons?

Figured I'd register just to comment on this add-on,
Works wonderful and made some profit already .

However, I was wondering if maybe you could put an indicator about WHY the add-on picked this item when the pop-up shows such as;
