Cast bar issue

If an ability is spammed, the cast bar will show, but then get hidden again. This happens really fast. The cast will finish, it's just the castbar that disappears.

Hi Maul, first of all you did a fantastic job on macaroon, me and my friends are very thankful

But I have one little question, I somehow (re)moved my cast bar on my main when I first installed macaroon extra. (I can see the cast bar on all my alts.) Since he's a resto druid I’d like to have a cast bar around.

Is there a /command or something to make it show up again ?

P.S. I'm a noob on all this stuff

OK, I Downloaded the latest version and still no luck in getting it to remember properly, BUT...

I found out that If I use snapping on the XP / Menu / Bag Bars it will reset them every time.

If I place them Manually, it will remember their positions correctly.
So that problem is solved ...

Just Dont use snapping on those parts of the UI

@Radz - Removing individual buttons is not in yet. However, there is a way to manipulate it to get what you want.

type /mac create menu

You now have two menu bars

Click on the bar that has all the menu buttons

type /mac remove until the first button you want to add is removed.

Then click the new menu bar.

type /mac add to add that single button.

Repeat for second button.

@skreech - I just added a new FAQ, here it is -

Okay, how in the world do you change the size of the XP or cast bars!?
- The XP/Rep and casting bars are treated like buttons. They have their "home" bar they belong to and listen to the bar's settings just like buttons. Now, to adjust the bars individually, it is just like adjusting a button individually. Type /mac edit or alt-click the minimap button, and enter button edit mode. Then right-click on the bars just like you would the buttons and a new edit panel pops open with options. Select the option you want to edit and just like the bars, the mousewheel will adjust that value.

@Credak - Take a look at the FAQ. There is a link to a Blizzard post that may help the issue.

@Aesir - Yup, you got it

Re: Re: Separate Bag and Menu Bar AddOns

Thanks for the responses, Maul, re: using Macaroon Xtras with other bag mods.

I had to read that sentence a few times... but I think I understand now. If there exists any Macaroon element that conflicts with another mod's frame/UI, I can create/edit/destroy the Macaroon element at will - because it's not tied to any Blizzard or 3rd party addon element.

Ok, now I think I come to understand why Macaroon is different under the covers compared to other existing bar mods. It's not really a bar mod at all, at least from one point of view.

Thanks again!

Is there a way to load a profile immediately after logging in ?
Or a way to load one via macro?

Because loading my saved profile correctly sets the bars into the correct position, but going into the menu each time becomes tiresome lol.

EDIT...

Ok I dont wish to load using a profile either.

When loading via profile it forgets the bars that I have set up to change using the "Alt" Key.

Ill just manually move them everytime I log in.

That didnt work for me.

Tried placing the bag / XP bar while running as admin, then restarted the game normally, and they still ended up back in the center of the screen.

The variables for position are being saved into the WTF files correctly, but it just doesn't seem to be using them when starting the game, it just seems to be defaulting all the values.

Also, Its remembering the width and height of the Bag / XP, but, again, not the position.

Any tips/shortcut methods wrt to disabling the Menu Bar feature from this package are, of course, also appreciated.
Actually, the bags in Macaroon Xtras are Macaroons own frames. If you turn on the default Blizz bar, you will see you actually have two sets of bags

Just select the bag bar while in edit mode and type /mac delete and you should never see them again. And they should not affect any bag mod since no bag mod knows about them

Thanks for any help.
Blizzard only gives 10 action ID's. But the great thing about Macaroon is you combine pet and macro buttons on the same bar. Just make simple /petattack macros to free up an action ID.

Hopes this helps!
