UWorldPvP

Version: 1.22
by: Threeleft [More]

UWorldPvP displays enemy spec and gear rating on mouseover. It warns when untargetted enemies cast spells at you, and shows the approximate location of every enemy player within combat log range of any player with this addon.

Nearby enemies and their information are placed in a window. The gear rating and inspection mouse over features also work on players of the same faction. In addition, it will also show the percent of their gear rating comes from PvP gear.

Warning messages are displayed in the middle of the screen when any enemy you are currently in combat with, but not targeting, starts to cast a spell. It will also warn when any nearby enemy stealths.

The mapping feature lets you see the location of any enemy within combat log range or moused over by any player on your faction who has the mod. The position appears as a red dot on your map of the zone. It is currently set to only show players seen within the last minute to prevent clutter. If you are able to get a large enough install base for your faction you should pretty much be able to see any player anywhere.

You are now able to add players to an enemy list, which you can use to pull up the location of their last sighting, and make their name appear above their location on the zone map.

Notes:
Enemy gear rating in PvP zones only works accurately on level 85 players.

Your map only shows you the locations of enemy players who are in range of allied players who have this addon. So the more players on your faction or BG group that you convince to get this addon, the better it will work for all of you.

Enemy positions show up incorrectly on less that full sized zone maps.

I wish. All the normal methods and most of the workarounds i thought up wont work for this... I thought of some way I might be able to get a workaround of this, comparing damage against an enemy vs what it would be if he had no resil... but it would be an insane amount of work and not neccessarily super accurate. I'm glad you like the addon though!

Check out my new addon, Raid Finder. It's like blizzard's dungeon finder, except for raids and with much better gear checking.

Really interesting addon, which I came by when searching for something that can display some data on the toughness (e.g. resilience) of nearby enemies, preferably in some widget attached to their nameplates, or even completely new nameplates.

This addon almost achieves this! Except it can't read the resilience amount on enemies, unfortunately. Any ideas on how to achieve such a thing? Hitpoints is no longer a good measure, seeing as the hp amount is more or less the same for pvp and pve geared characters.

I'll add a bug report as well: I was unable to save the position of the mouseover placeholder and that grid with enemy data. As soon as I reloadui or logout and log back in, they are back to default position.

Anyway, keep up the good work

Re: Issue

Thanks for the bug report! I made some changes that fix the issue you were getting as well as changes that should lower the used memory in the new bgs.

I just installed this addon and noticed an issue. The mouseover information works for allies but not for opposite faction members. I get no information displayed at all. Also, the tracking window doesn't display anything other than the name of moused-over opposite faction members.

Is there anything I can do to fix this on my end? ty
