SimpleMountEquip 1.9 by Brodrick ( aka Kirov )

[I have quit wow. It is unlikely I will update this, or any other of my addons.
If you wish to take them over, feel free.

Automatically equips any mount speed increase items in the player's bags when mounting and reequips the previous items when unmounting.

Requires no setup, just install and it works!

Options
* Disabled in battlegrounds by default.
* Options to disable in any zone, will automatically unequip / equip when entering or leaving disabled zones.
* Option to set prefered gear if player has more than one piece of gear with mount speed enchants.
* Saves non-mounted gear between server restarts, console reloads, and log out and in.
* Works with druid flight form.

Usage
Type /sme in the console for a list of options

Known Issues
* Flight form trinket is only equipped if the player has a talent only form (Tree, Moonkin). There is a fix for this already which I will be releasing as soon as I get it tested.

Q&A
Q: How do I setup the addon to swap my gear?
A: You just install the addon, there's no setup required. Unlike most mount gear addons you do not have to define what gear you want to use. SimpleMountEquip will find the relevant gear and automatically equip and unequip it for you.

Q: I have Riding Crop along with enchanted gloves and boots, but it only equips the Riding Crop, why?
A: The enchant bonuses do not stack with the Riding Crop or the Skybreaker Whip since the riding speed bonus from items is capped at 10%. SimpleMountEquip will only equip one of the 10% speed increase trinkets, or the enchanted items with Carrot on a Stick.

Q: Can you make this addon cast Crusader Aura when I mount?
A: No. Blizzard disabled the ability for addons to cast spells automatically, so this feature will never be possible.

Q: How do I stop it the addon from saying every time it changes my items?
A: /sme quiet

Q: Can I equip some specific gear other than my riding speed bonus items?
A: Not with this addon, no. There are other addons that let you do that, but that is beyond the intent of this addon's abilities.

It should continue to work as is, though issues (like the shaman ghost form) will remain unfixed unless someone else wants to fix it. If Blizzard intends to re-implement mount speed increasing items in the future I will continue work on this addon. If you read the forums and the description of the riding crop you will see it says no other riding boost will stack with riding crop, thus the mod will not equip all of your riding bonuses. Plus thats a waste, if you get dismounted due to combat, would you rather be short 5 pieces of fighting gear, or just a trinket?

The mod works exactly right, far as I see, no changes are needed. Great work!

I turn off the Crop and it all works so ....... Can you please make the crop work with the gloves and boots, and I'd love it if the carrot will also work

As for it not working with the flying mount As far as I can tell my equipment works the same with my epic cat as it does with my snowy grif

No need to even declare a tooltip to scan. Made the changes to my local copy already. =)
