OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

I used 7-zip to compress it, you could try using that to extract it, but there shouldn't be a password.

Shining

Omg, i was getting really mad about my buttons shining at me. I really DO hate this functionality, but happily i have found that it can be switched off - but took me a while to figure out its this add-on who implemented it suddenly and without warning :´)

BOOOOO....ABInfo style flashes. More memory & load time used (even when disabled) for no good reason (for those who really dislike the flashes).

Why can't people who want those annoying flashes just use ABInfo? Instead of porking up the terrific OmniCC to satisfy them?

Actually, I coded the shine in a way as to only be created if enabled, so there shouldn't actually be a performance impact I didn't actually mean to have it enabled by default, though.

I've included a minimal version of OmniCC (no saved variables, no size and color changes). To use it, open up !OmniCC.toc and change from:
Code:
## Interface: 11100
## Title: Omni Cooldown Count
## Notes: Cooldown Count for Everything
## Author: Tuller
## X-Version: 6.7.24
## Dependencies:
## SavedVariables: OmniCC
cooldown.lua
main.lua
To:
Code:
## Interface: 11100
## Title: Omni Cooldown Count
## Notes: Cooldown Count for Everything
## Author: Tuller
basic.lua
I might end up splitting the shine code off into a seperate file, so that you could completely disable it via removing shine.lua or something.

scale of numbers question

ive gotta be missing something or have the syntax wrong or something

can someone type the command i should issue to make my cooldown numbers bigger? i'd prefer them to size to the size of my buttons (i use bongos) and have the bars scaled down a bit. if the numbers could fill the entire button it would be great.

thanks a million!

ah hah!
/omnicc size 25
works great for my bongos bars scaled down to ~90% of normal
thanks!!

Perhaps I should write this up as a bug, but I'm not sure if it's intentional or not. While trying to set my vlong/long/medium/short colors, I noticed that I can only get white, red, yellow and green (thus far) to work. I can't seem to get orange or any other colors to work, despite the RGB code being correct.

Awesome. Thanks for your efforts in accomodating both the minimalists & the feature-wanters, Tuller . Keep up the great work!

Couple Requests...

Two things I'd REALLY love to see:
An option to show tenths of seconds when under 1 second. Some spells I really want to time well, and I don't like smaching the same button over and over.

An option to see the shine even if the cooldown is less than the mincooldown.

I'd like to see a shine when my global cooldown is up, but I don't want to see a "1" timer on every button...

thanks!

Any chance of you adding the number of times you can use an ability before you ran out of mana/rage, or the number of energy tick to wait before you can use an action. Like ABInfo does?

No. This would require me to make a plugin for each and every actionbar mod.

The addon is broken in 1.12 -- instead of things like 5m one sees 5%d m now.
