OpenRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.0
by: Kimpossibru [More]

OpenRaid is the biggest cross-realm raiding community, and we now have an addon to bring all your raids in-game! This addon will take OpenRaid data from the website and place it in your calendar, so you can see in-game which raids you are signed up for. It will also assist you during invites if you are a raidleader on OpenRaid a lot. You need an account on www.OpenRaid.eu or www.OpenRaid.us to use this addon.

Importing OpenRaid events to the in-game calendar
Simply go to OpenRaid.eu/us, click Account and click "OpenRaid Addon for WoW synchronisation". Place the data shown on your clipboard, tab back to World of Warcraft and type "/oraid import". Paste the data, and your calendar will be updated to include all the raids you signed up for (and approved for).

How will this help me with invites? (raidleaders)
Basically it will do all the Real ID invites for you at the click of a button, which saves you a lot of work. Because Real ID email addresses are not accessible in-game after adding someone, we cannot form the raid for you at this time. But a window is shown showing you who to invite, so you simply open your friendslist and check off anyone you invited.

That list is now scrollable!

2.0
- Complete overhaul of user interface

1.2
- Added Invite To Group button

1.1
- Fixed that clicking the checkbox was not deleting the proper index when scrolled down.

-- version number standarization --
0.3
- The Cancel(!) button now in fact cancels the invites and opening up the invite screen again will start a fresh round.
- Added /oraid msg <msg>, so you can change the invite message
- Added up/down buttons to scroll through the list of invites
- Now invite people that might have been missed again when you tick someone off the list

Minor quibble...

Haven't tried the addon yet, but version numbers in the filename would be much appreciated.

Awesome! Awesome!!! Much anticipated! Not sure if you were one of the designers of the website but it looks fantastic! Any estimation on the Android app? It seems to always crash before I can get it open on an Android X. Either way just the website in itself is a great addition! Has me raiding like crazy!

Any ETA as to when you are going to be updating this mod? I am a pretty avid raider and this would be very helpful to keep track of everything I am running. Thanks

Addon is out of date and not working

I downloaded and installed today. It was however out of date. I loaded it into the UI anyway and followed the instructions to import raids into my calendar but it did not work.

Is it the time difference that makes it keeps prompting the time for this event has already passed?

Example:
14929 blahblah's Ulduar25,5,26,2012,20,00;15411 Ssc/Tk,5,30,2012,12,00;
When as of right now it's 1700h

Please update to the latest version, where /oraid should work (and /openraid).
/or is an old version, the new one is much better!

If your addon works with /or and not /oraid, please update

(/or is meant to open the raid interface, I shouldn't have used it :P)

Thanks guys!

One thing I noticed...

The documentation and OpenRaid site say use /oraid import, but /oraid doesn't exist within the code!

/or and /openraid are both specified and work, but /oraid is nowhere to be seen! o.O

Maybe that's what the two people below were having issues with?

I suppose a quick fix is to simply change one of the times to match the other, minor inconvenience nonetheless.

Another little note, can there be added code to automatically click the button until it disappears, when adding new data?

Thank you for this addon though, with a few fixes down the road it'll become a great tool.
Thanks for posting about that! We're going to launch a new version very soon

Perhaps there's a conflicting addon... I'm not sure. I used pretty unique names, it's working for me. Can you try disabling other addons?

Can be a pain inviting 25 people manually

Did you put it in your interface folder?
A window should pop up asking you for OpenRaid import data
