A fairly simple addon that can play a sound and give a text or icon warning whenever important talents or abilities proc, or you gain certain buffs. Most important procs I could think of are included by default, but more can be added or removed.

Icons for abilities which are off cooldown can also be shown, as a visual warning that said ability should be used immediately.

When adding a buff or spell to look for, remember to use the exact, case specific name.

To use your own sound, add the file to the Interface\AddOns\Alert\sounds directory, type the file's name in the edit box in options, and choose custom under the drop down menu.

Please report bugs and comment with ideas for changes, additions, or improvements.

zohar101 A Cyclonian Forum posts: 43 File comments: 188 Uploads: 0	I have tried this and while I can add spells and buffs, I do not see anything show up on my screen. There were no lua errors either. I have tried locking and unlocking the icons, changing the size etc but I don't see anything.

Sorry, I just copied all the stuff off my curse page, including the screen shot, which is old. The interface to add more buffs was moved off the main configuration frame, access it by pressing the button labeled 'Buffs'.

Well when I said I can't add any buff I meant that I couldn't add it with the "Buff" button at all...when I press it I just get a blank list into which I can add NOTHING and which I can't make it disapear except I do /reloadui...but let's see how this new Version is

P.S.: Now it works to add buffs,release a sound when these buffs occur and showing it in the chat..however it doesn't show a icon on the screen...and the buffs window gets stuck once again(I still need to do reload UI to get rid of it).

If you get any Lua errors could you please post them ? I've tried with no addons on and all settings reset and everything seems to work fine. Also, try pushing reset to move the icon position to the center of the screen.
