FIRST, i would like to say, thank you for this mod, it has saved me alot of annoyance because i use th2g 3840x1024 rez. and the only thing that would make it SUPER AMAZINGO, would be if you could figure out when i open up a corpse to loot, how to have that frame populate where i want it, the frame is movable once open... but it goes right back to where it starts off everytime you loot something else.

SECOND, i appreciate you being so quick to fix the issues with the latest update ... i was worried when i was unable to play wow , narrowed it down to your mod, came here to check it out... and bam!!! update that works... thank you for your committment for gamers everywhere

Re: Re: Re: They killed your baby!

Character frame seems to be unmoveable since the latest patch. I've fixed that now. Waiting a bit with the release until i've checked up on the other bugreports first though.

@Mithoron: When do you get this bug ? And do you have any other addon interfering with the reputation code ? Mostly it's due to some saved value that isn't longer valid due to a patch or whatever. So just do a /ff reset and it should be ok.

@SeraphX: Well i'm not using bagnon and i haven't experienced anything like this. I'll try to recreate the bug and see if there's something that's easily fixed as a coexistant issue. But it takes too much time to fix i'll abandon it and just say that it won't work with bagnon i'm afraid.

@Vashra: You tried to delete the settings file and the addon. Redownloaded it and tried again ? Because i haven't experienced a single issue since the new patch (except character frame not moving). Did you try to enable the addon by itself with no other addons installed ?

@Grina: Thanks for the update on that. Been trying to find the issue here but i fail to do so =)

Everyone who's commenting on bugs etc please leave feedback when it's fixed aswell when it's not working so i know if i've fixed the bug in question etc.
If you get an error similar to this one:
Interface\AddOns\FloatingFrames\FloatingFrames.lua:379: attempt to index local 'parent' (a nil value)
I've narrowed it down to a window position saved that isn't workign like it should anymore. So please do a /ff reset to fix it then.

It breaks WoW.
Updated!

My below comment regarding Crashing to the Desktop is only for version 1.8 of FloatingFrames

Version 2.0 of FloatingFrames does not cause any problems with WoW patch 3.0.3

Sorry for my comments

Errors / Crashes

I've made the sad experience, that everytime I hit the "Esc" Key the same error as the pre-poster pops up - with the difference, that ff tells me, that the mailframe is inmovable...
Also when you try to open your bank (while bagnon is installed) and run away from it the game crashes completely as you leave your bankslot (only by running, if you close the windows manually it's no prob at all...)

hope this helped

I've now fixed so that all frames that used to work now works + the new frames. achievement etc.
And it won't leave a big barbershop icon in the middle of the screen
However i haven't been able to fix the error 132 thingie in the beta. i'll try to look into it some more when i got some spare time =)

I have the same problem as Sun in beta. However, if i disable it, and then log on, and then use ACP to turn it on in game, the game doesn't crash. HOWEVER, the giant Barbershop icon (the scissors and comb) then appears on screen, and doesn't go away unless I disable it.

No errors in game are produced though, and everything seems to be moving fine.
Also, any chance to get the achievement window and the quest tracker to be draggable?

@others: i don't care much for ppl making big comments about stuff not working and then not telling me if it's fixed or not. If you're gonna be that way don't make a comment in the first place.

error 132

this addon generate an Error 132 on the Beta.
ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: blabla...Wrath of the Lich King Beta\Wow.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:005268A8
the instruction at "0x005268A8" referenced memory at "0x000000108".
The memory could not be read.

it works fine on Live tho, but on Beta if i enable this wow just crash at launch with the error above.

something's fishy !

PS: just to be sure i disabled all addon but this one, it still does the same error so the culprit is yours and not some interaction with other addons

gl !

1.9 uploaded now.
Where i think i've managed to make a function that clears savestate in the default layout.
So if you want to remove the addon after a normal logout it should be ok.
It resets positions on /ff reset and on togglegamemenu()

For some reason 3.0.2 saves the position of the containerframes in the layout files differently than it did before.
The files affected are layout-local.txt (and in some cases layout-cache.txt)
Delete these and it should be ok.
I'll investigate.

@sfa: I am using the latest version I've had dl'ed after v3.02 was released (1.8 I guess, then).

I had already tried to delete the FloatingFrame.lua for a given toon, but it didn't seem to reset the frames' positions. I'll look into it a bit further to see if I have missed something

and the /ff reset command doesn't seem to reset anything either... ^^
