Deadly Boss Mods  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 7.1.4 r15512
by: Mave99, MysticalOS, Tandanu

DBM still needs your support!
https://www.patreon.com/deadlybossmods

Alpha versions are available at deadbossmods.com

Features:

  • Boss mods for all raid bosses
  • Colored raid warnings (players will be colored according to their class) with icons - so you will know what's going on without even reading the message
  • Auto-respond during boss fights. DBM will inform anyone who whispers you during a boss fight that you are busy. These messages contain the name and health of the boss as well as the raid's status
  • HealthFrame: you can enable a simple frame that shows a health bar for all active bosses. This is enabled by default for multi-mob bosses like Four Horsemen
  • Bars can be enlarged with decent effects when they are about to expire
  • Crash recovery: you had a disconnect or crash during a boss fight? No problem for DBM! It will request the timer and combat status information from other DBM users in your raid group and you get your timers back
  • Synchronization system for accurate timers
  • No dependencies, no embedded libraries (except for the optional LibDataBroker plugin that embeds LibDataBroker)
  • Modular design - all boss mods are plugins and can be exchanged, removed or updated separately
  • Load on demand - all boss mods are separate AddOns and they will be loaded when they are needed. So they don't use memory or cpu until you enter the corresponding instance
  • Special effects like the screen flash effect, huge warning messages and sounds will draw your attention to critical events
  • Bars can change their color over time and flash before they expire
  • There are many bar designs to choose from, all designs are are customizable: you can change the color, size, icon position etc.
  • Support for SharedMedia, so you can use any texture for your bars
  • Option to create custom timers, so-called "Pizza Timers" for your pizza or whatever you prefer to eat while raiding. You can also send those timers to your raid group
  • Powerful object-oriented API - you can use it to write your own boss mods!

Please notice that we can help you on a lot of Problems but we do not check every Forum so please report all problems, bugs or whatever you want to tell us to the DBM Crew at www.deadlybossmods.com. We got a very good and daily visited forum there to help you with our AddOn.

We are also allways happy to get feedback if we forgot to add a required feature, so please check out our website, click the forum and be a part the the great DBM Community!

New Features:

Core:
  • Respawn timers should now include boss name (some non english languages may be worded funny though, didn't have time to get proper translations)

Trial of Valor:
  • Added optional off by default yells to the other 2 licks on guarm. I still think they are pointless but having the option never hurts anything!
  • Fury of maw timer should now update if infusion isn't interrupted on mythic helya
  • Infusion cast bar should now cancel when it was interrupted on mythic helya
  • Added phase 2 and phase 3 announces to Helya.
  • Added phase 3 announce to Odyn.
  • Added LFR berserk timer to guarm.

Bug Fixes:

Trial of Valor:
  • Fix infoframe bug on guarm where it only showed two of 3 debuffs (showed one of them twice)
  • Fixed foam warnings on guarm so they also fire for JUMPed debuffs as well (jumped foams had different spellid)
  • Fixed fury of maw phase 3 mythic timer. Accidentally pasted phase 2 mythic timer into phase 3 somehow.
  • Fixed phase 3 taint of sea timers not showing, the unit event doesn’t show in phase 3.
  • Fixed bug where orb text would always say Ranged on helya.
  • Fixed a bug where phase 3 detection on helya would not work if any big adds were still alive when phase 3 started. This caused all sorts of issues with timers in phase 3 (especially orbs) and should resolve any issues you might have seen in phase 3.

Changes:

Core:
  • Mythic+ and 2/3 Chest timers have been removed. Despite many efforts, they were just too buggy with way they were added and fixing them would require a lot of dirty work that'd effectively be another mod entirely, which at this point that mod already exists so I figured best to scrap them. Install https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/mythicplustimer or similar mod for these features.

Trial of Valor
  • Improved tentacle strike code so warning is slightly faster and less antispam is needed.

As mentioned in the patch notes: DBM 4.26 or newer is incompatible with older versions of DBM-RaidLeadTools. You can find a newer version of DBM-RaidLeadTools on www.deadlybossmods.com (I'm not sure if this newer version is already available somewhere else, I'm not mainting this extra-addon)

Not sure if I should be posting this here, or on the DBM forums, but wanted to start here just in case. Lately since I installed the newest version of DBM whenever I get a boss kill the following error is listed:

Code:
Error while executing callback function: 2BF5CAA8 for event kill:
...AddOns\DBM-RaidLeadTools\DBM-DkpSystem\dkpsystem.lua:440:
attempt to index field 'localization' (a nil value)
It doesn't get reported like most of the error messages I've seen through Swatter, but is listed as a DBM announcement after the boss goes down and DBM states how long it took to down said boss. The error doesn't cause anything dramatic to happen, it just outputs for ever boss killed which gets weird. Thanks.

The site uses Google AdSense. I don't see ads for gold-sellers there. You can try to turn off the google adsense tracking cookie to see non-user-targeted ads: http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html

Edit: or you can just use adblock plus....

Re: Re: targeting possible?

Not... exactly. It'd need a pretty fancy new feature, namely being able to assign a macro to those bars, and more work on the player's part than is generally necessary with DBM as it stands now. For that much work a player could just make the macro and run it himself when the adds pop.
