Dailies Quest Tracker

This is a Broker Dailies Quest Tracker Addon, that will keep track of the dailies that you have done for the day. All libraries are included. You will need to have some sort of Broker container in order to use this addon. (I.E. Fortress, DockingStation, NinjaPanel, etc..)

Shift-Left-Clicking on a quest title, will paste the quest link in the chat-box.
Control-Left-Clicking a quest title will open that quest within the Quest Log. This will only work if you currently have the quest.
Left-Clicking the Broker icon will open your Quest Log.
Right-Clicking the Broker icon will open the settings for Dailies Quest Tracker.
You can track multiple toons (Horde/Alliance) to keep track of dailies done on all of them. Right now, if you have characters with the same names on different realms, issues may arise with tracking.
Filter out groups you have no interest in watching.
Shows reputation from factions and will color the faction based on your current standings. You can also display your current standings in the group headers.
If you have any announcement addons (Scrolling Combat Text, Blizzard UI, Parrot) you can have it announce to those scrollers.

Fixed Daily Timer not showing if resetting less than a hour
Fixed Battleground Holidays not showing
Fixed some graphical glitches
Added Hodir Badges to 5-Player Normal dailies
Added 'Identifying the Remains' daily to Argent Tournament and corrected the total counts

** BUGS/ISSUE First remedy **
PLEASE delete DailiesQuestTracker saved variables first if you are running into errors. ALOT has changed and you have been forewarned.

Localizations are in the works and will happen, but as of right now this version will only work on ENGLISH clients.

Edit: Although I love this addon, I had to remove it. The combination with Carbonite (actual version 3.1) led to a completely frozen game, when "M" for displaying the world map had been pressed. Then a DQT window popped up, displaying the complete list of all available DQ's for all zones. The game slowed down, no interaction was possible anymore and the only way to quit was killing it using task manager (Windows XP Pro SP3 + actual patches) or hitting <CTRL-ALT-Escape> three times on a Mac (Mac OS X 10.5.6).

As it is i cannot turn on or off any features with out loosing my little blue ! as the mini map button dissapears so i can either have little blue ! and not enable/disable it or i can the minimap button with no blue!

i just kind gave up as a spent a good while trying to make it work.

ill get the other when thats sorted good mod though when it does work

Not at the moment, as it is right now everything is loaded when DQT loads. Even though there are features you turn off. Things are still running behind the scenes.

With the new DQT, only the things that your turn on will be running. There are so many features right now in DQT that alot may not use and pointless to have them running and taking memory, although marginal. With making it more modularized, only what you want on will be running.

It's about time with all these issues, that I'm gonna just redo DQT from scratch. DQT has gotten bloated abit with features that people may not want or need and it's doe time to modularize it so you only have to load what you want. With this being said, I will no longer be making DQT compatible with FuBar (I.E. completely removing it) and only going specially for Broker. Alot of the hidden Minimap issues arise when DQT is trying to make it work for FuBar and Broker. DQT currently will not work with any addons that take control of the WorldMap, like Carbonite and Cartographer 3. I do not plan on adding support for these addons as I believe they can add the same functionality with their mods without completely taking over default Blizz features. Alot of what people are experiencing when getting hangs and crashes is DQT is trying to populate the WorldMap and can't. Just a little insight, I'm not going to go over all the issues that I see as this would become a wall of text. Hang in there.. I'm going to release in baby steps for those that want to try out the new DQT and slowly introduce features from the old DQT in module form for the new version. So any requests that you'd like to see in function that you think would be a great addition to DQT, please let me know. Last edited by Fritos : 05-08-09 at 04:45 PM.

I try to find the problem and when i put DQT on off the problem is resolved. I try to delete DailiesQuestTracker.lua and DailiesQuestTracker.lua.bak but the problem persist when DQT is active. Don't know why thx for your help

Yes it works but the tracker does not count the completed quests down anymore. I think this has s.th. to do with some minimap button organizing mods.

Northrend dailies are just dailies that don't give you rep with a specific faction, or give you rep with Alliance Vangaurd/Horde Expidition. That way you don't waste time doing them if you need Sons of Hodir rep.

rdejager A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 3 Uploads: 0	ui freezes After a while of playing my UI freezes and everything hangs, i can still chat in the channels but commands wont work, the only one that works is /rl, after the reload, the games runs fine again for a while and then another freeze, mor of the time prior before the freeze a memory allocation error pops up, and my addon memory usage jumps to 100MB. After a couple of reloads, i just get a WOW crash, same error, memory allocation. Anyone else experiencing this? love to have this solved, i love this addon allot

If you have a mod that cleans up your minimap then its constantly removing it from the minimap. I cant keep mine from getting deleted. I bring it back and it goes away. if you do a standby and a reactivate it stays but never counts your quests down, it just freezes. And the debug is not the minimap issues because I turned it off and got the same problem.
