Dailies Quest Tracker

This is a Broker Dailies Quest Tracker Addon, that will keep track of the dailies that you have done for the day. All libraries are included. You will need to have some sort of Broker container in order to use this addon. (I.E. Fortress, DockingStation, NinjaPanel, etc..)

Shift-Left-Clicking on a quest title, will paste the quest link in the chat-box.
Control-Left-Clicking a quest title will open that quest within the Quest Log. This will only work if you currently have the quest.
Left-Clicking the Broker icon will open your Quest Log.
Right-Clicking the Broker icon will open the settings for Dailies Quest Tracker.
You can track multiple toons (Horde/Alliance) to keep track of dailies done on all of them. Right now, if you have characters with the same names on different realms, issues may arise with tracking.
Filter out groups you have no interest in watching.
Shows reputation from factions and will color the faction based on your current standings. You can also display your current standings in the group headers.
If you have any announcement addons (Scrolling Combat Text, Blizzard UI, Parrot) you can have it announce to those scrollers.

Added Brewfest
Fixed Daily Timer not showing if resetting less than a hour
Fixed Battleground Holidays not showing
Fixed some graphical glitches
Added Hodir Badges to 5-Player Normal dailies
Added 'Identifying the Remains' daily to Argent Tournament and corrected the total counts

** BUGS/ISSUE First remedy **
PLEASE delete DailiesQuestTracker saved variables first if you are running into errors. ALOT has changed and you have been forewarned.

Localizations are in the works and will happen, but as of right now this version will only work on ENGLISH clients.

penchanter22 A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 1 File comments: 7 Uploads: 0	RE: 'DailiesNumberDate' (a nil value) Of course you are going to repeatedly see THAT particular variable name coming up as "a NIL value" (i.e.: empty)... because Blizz up and arbitrararily changed its name to something else... but we cannot outright accuse them of purposely attempting to break a fine add-on like DQT by doing so, noooo, of course not. But what 'good' purpose could changing this single variable name have, over all, in their WoW-coding? Conspiracy Theories 101-R-US P.S. Now all someone has to do is find the new keyword so we can search/replace that badpuppy for overselves and hopefully get this add-on back online!

Yep, those dailies are not in there so they won't be tracked. Nothing broken.

With the XPac out and people leveling, my main focus is getting myself prepped in my guild for raiding. The project is still going on, and am here reading everyday. I am aware of errors some are having. Just will take some time with having RL stuff (Yay! Work

), leveling and all that jazz.

I am still having problems with this mod as of the expansion. I have turned off all my other mods because I thought it might be clashing with one of them. However I still am encountering these errors: My chat completely disappears when this mod is enabled. I can not see general, trade, guild, party, anything. Secondly, I do not see where to activate the expansion quests like I have read about in your posts. It seems to me like I am downloading an older version of the mod, however I am downloading it directly from the mod's main page. I appreciate the time and effort you put into maintaining this wonderful add on! Now if only I can get it to work, haha!

This mod does nothing to the Chat frame. There is no code what-so-ever that does anything with interfering with it, so I'm not sure what is causing the issue for you, maybe try deleting your WTF folder (doing this will reset all your settings in WoW).

In the menu, under 'Expansions' you need to choose which dailies you'd like to display.

See that's the thing, I can't even find an option like that in the menu at all.

So, when you Right-Click the icon in Fubar/Mini-map. You don't see any menu to set the configuration for DQT.

Also note, DQT does not work with Broker. So if you are using Fubar2Broker or something similar this will not work. Broker does not add in the functionality of the menus.

When you Right-Click the icon, the first option 'Random Dailies Communication', you need to click this to turn it on. Doing so will Reload your UI to add the channel (Make sure you have not used all 10 Channels or else this will not work).

I figured it out. I am a Vista user, and during the last patch the game apparently moved the location of my interface folder from Programs/WoW/Interface to Users/Public/Games/WoW/Interface. I was updating the add on in the old folder.

It's all working perfectly now. Thank you for your patience! I look forward to putting this add on to work!

Norek, yes alot of dailies are missing. I only had so much time in Beta to level and to figure out where these dailies where. Wowhead wasn't reliable, cause Blizzard kept changing quests or putting in Dummy quests which they then removed.

As of now, which I have stated. I am actively working on the Mod as the best I can. I'm in a raiding guild and right now my focus is getting to 80, and also having RL life things to work around (I.E. Work, Family), it leaves little time to sit down and only work on the mod.

I'm adding things in as I see them on m journey to 80, once eveything settles down with leveling and Wowhead being abit more reliable to pull dailies from I'll bust out a fresh copy with Dailies Goodness.

Just need to be abit patient. Thanks.
