Dailies Quest Tracker 
This is a Broker Dailies Quest Tracker Addon, that will keep track of the dailies that you have done for the day. All libraries are included. You will need to have some sort of Broker container in order to use this addon. (I.E. Fortress, DockingStation, NinjaPanel, etc..)
- Shift-Left-Clicking on a quest title, will paste the quest link in the chat-box.
- Control-Left-Clicking a quest title will open that quest within the Quest Log. This will only work if you currently have the quest.
- Left-Clicking the Broker icon will open your Quest Log.
- Right-Clicking the Broker icon will open the settings for Dailies Quest Tracker.
- You can track multiple toons (Horde/Alliance) to keep track of dailies done on all of them. Right now, if you have characters with the same names on different realms, issues may arise with tracking.
- Filter out groups you have no interest in watching.
- Shows reputation from factions and will color the faction based on your current standings. You can also display your current standings in the group headers.
- If you have any announcement addons (Scrolling Combat Text, Blizzard UI, Parrot) you can have it announce to those scrollers.

PLEASE delete DailiesQuestTracker saved variables first if you are running into errors. ALOT has changed and you have been forewarned.
Localizations are in the works and will happen, but as of right now this version will only work on ENGLISH clients.

Thanks for the updates; it was well worth the wait! I like the tracker for watching zones/groups, but I had a feature request for it: can you make it so that you can dismiss it without having to right click the FuBar icon, scroll down, etc? Maybe a keybinding or a slash command? I apologize if this is already implemented or planned; I haven't had much time to play around this week. Great great great updates though, thanks.
I seem to be having a problem with TomTom and the "click quest watcher on world map to automatically set a waypoint." This doesn't work for me. I just did a little troubleshooting last night, with only TomTom and DQT on, and it still didn't work. When I log on tonight I'll try deleting my WTF variables and such to see if it still doesn't work. Also, whenever I get do an elder quest, I get an error. I'll get that error to you this evening when I log on again; I meant to get it last night but forgot. It doesn't break anything, its just an error. Is anyone else having these problems or, as usual, is it just me? =) |

The thing with the Deformat Lib is there is NO difference in code between 2.0 and 3.0, you can look at this yourself if you like. I inspected the code myself and the only difference is the revision number. Why they did this is very deceptive as they made no code changes. I'll look into it abit further as I do like to try to keep current with updated libs.
With the transparency/scale issue, I cannot reproduce this. I've changed it, reloaded my UI changed it again and again. With no hang ups, I'll keep trying to see if I can reproduce this. Keep me in the loop..

Fritos, the "quest complete" and messages when i get a new quest work fine!
I tried with regular quests (not daily though). Nonetheless, dismiss my precedent post saying those messages didn't show up, as it seems you've already fixed this with the new version. Sorry about the fuss. |

I tried the new version, and you already added the scaling and transparency to the tracker...good job Fritos!
However, i don't want to sound like i'm repeating myself, but the Deformat-2.0.lua caused even more problems to me today. As soon as game is loaded, your addon says an error about Deformat-2.0 and GroupLootFu. Then, i clicked on Bandager, and an error with your mod said something about "Deformat-2.0.lua"... Any plan to update this lib? It's so old that i think it's conflicting with addons that use a most recent version ( i thought Ace was supposed to handle this through garbage collection, but in that case, something is really wrong). Note: if i replace your old Deformat-2.0 with the one inside GroupLootFu (which is more recent), then when i load WoW, your addon says an error about Deformat-2.0 without any other mods conflict (in another word, the error message then concerns exclusively your addon). it will come back each time i turn in a quest, and it also doesn't display the Blizzard message in chat "quest complete" or the message that says you just got a new quest (honestly, the lack of quest messages in chat is a big loss, i hope you can fix it soon). But then again, every error messages (once i replace the old Deformat-2.0 with the new one from GroupLootFu) concern only your addon ( i can see that with ImprovedErrorFrame). About the Transparency Slider: i loaded the mod, changed scale to 50%, and then, each time i tried to change this option, the Slider would just stand there, no matter that i moved my cursor or not... So, i just deleted the lua files in WTF folder, loaded the game, and this time the scale/transparency options worked smooth this time. Edit: i just loaded WoW with a most recent Deformat-2.0.lua file. Same as i said above except: i locked Bandager, clicked it, and your addon threw another error about Deformat-2.0. I went in the Bandager folder, and there's no libs used! (this is getting confusing ...). Just know that so far, i've never had any problems or error messages with Bandager ever. Edit #2: after wasting 2 bandages in game for testing purpose (lol), i just figured out i could actually copy-paste messages from the ImprovedErrorFrame window! 1st error message is when i load the game, second one is when i click on Bandager ( i actually tried to hold my click while clicking to not use bandages, if you know what i mean). Also, this is with Deformat-2.0 Revision: $Rev: 49 $. (from january 2009). Thank you for pointing out the menu option for unlocking and moving the watcher frame which I do like. I would also like the option to set the transparency and size of the frame.
Now I got my first error when I accepted the daily fishing quest from Old Man Barlo and the daily cooking quest in Dalaran. Thanks for the posts, some of the errors reported I know what may be causing them. It seems alot of people are getting Chat Frame errors, which I know what is causing this. I'll have to remove this feature as I think other addons are causing conflicts, It works fine on my end. When I get home from work, I'll try to get an update out.
The Dailies Quest Watcher can be turned off and moved for those that want to, under the Menu Options. I'll see about adding a scale and transparency option. As far as the tooltip, I'm using Blizzards standard tooltip functions, so no idea why they may be huge for some. I suggest everyone that are having tons of errors to delete there DailiesQuestTracker.lua and .lua.bak, I had to change some of the data from the previous version which I think may be causing alot of these errors. Filters are only there when you have the faction Neutral or above, I.E. If your working on Oracles there won't be tracking from Frenzyheart as I believe you can't be working on them at the same time. Sons of Hodir dailies come as you gain faction, I.E. you'll get more dailies when you get into Honored, Revered. Are you not seeing this?

Lib Deformat-3.0 outdated.
Hi Fritos. This addon is fantastic and very practical. Thank you for sharing it!
I noticed error messages in ImprovedErrorFrame. It seems the mod loads each time, with an error related to Deformat-3.0. I think you're using an old July 2008 lib version instead of a february 2009 one. Please update this lib if possible. PS: sorry i didn't get a copy of the error messages, but with ImprovedErrorFrame i don't think i can copy-paste errors. (waiting for bugsack/buggrabber to update their addons, as for now they're buggy with the new WoW client). A request plz: if you could add a resize function to the tracker, that would be awesome! (and really a little plus, why not an alpha slider for transparency?). |

The "attempt to compare number with nil" are back on some of the quests at the point when you turn them into the quest givers. there mainly the cooking quest and JC quests in dalaran. lines 3717 and 2408 so far i am sure there are more. i will try the clean install and see if it helps.

I deleted the old version and the data files before I installed the new beta, workng great for me so far, no problems. A question, will you be able to add Sons of Hodir, Frenzyheart, and Oracles dailies in the final release version? |
