As requested, here is the export of the auras in question. It's meant to display an icon for the Arms DPS priority system, which is Rend > Colossus Smash > Mortal Strike > Overpower > Slam, and then Heroic Strike above 70 rage.
The only other issue besides the 1-2 second delay on self-deactivating auras, is with the way I made the Colossus Smash auras. The intent was to only show the aura for the ability when it's available and when it will not clip the armor debuff. I made 3 auras to accomplish that. One for display, one for when it's not active, and one to monitor the debuff itself. That all works fine, however I've noted that for some reason when Sudden Death procs (talent that refreshes the cooldown on Colossus Smash) it basically halts the entire process until the debuff expires, even if it should instead be displaying something else on the priority. Any insight into why it's behaving in that way would be most helpful as well. Code:
Set=Page 1@ Aura[1]=Version:4.16; target:true; icon:Ability_Gouge; buffname:Rend; x:10; bufftype:2; alpha:0.3; owntex:true; isResting:0; mine:true; speed:2; combat:true; size:0.28; y:143; texmode:2; inverse:true; finish:0@ Aura[2]=Version:4.16; target:true; icon:Ability_Gouge; buffname:Rend; x:-89; bufftype:2; alpha:1; owntex:true; isResting:0; mine:true; off:true; combat:true; size:0.28; y:170@ Aura[3]=Version:4.16; icon:ability_warrior_colossussmash; buffname:Colossus Smash; x:10; bufftype:7; alpha:0.3; owntex:true; isResting:0; multiids:2/5; combat:true; size:0.28; y:143; texmode:2; finish:0@ Aura[4]=Version:4.16; icon:ability_warrior_colossussmash; buffname:Colossus Smash; x:-2; bufftype:7; owntex:true; isResting:0; off:true; combat:true; size:0.28; y:171; texmode:2; inverse:true@ Aura[5]=Version:4.16; target:true; icon:ability_warrior_colossussmash; buffname:Colossus Smash; x:-2; bufftype:2; alpha:1; owntex:true; isResting:0; mine:true; off:true; combat:true; size:0.28; y:95; inverse:true@ Aura[6]=Version:4.16; icon:Ability_Warrior_SavageBlow; buffname:Mortal Strike; x:10; bufftype:7; alpha:0.3; owntex:true; isResting:0; multiids:2/4; combat:true; size:0.28; y:143; texmode:2; finish:0@ Aura[7]=Version:4.16; icon:Ability_Warrior_SavageBlow; buffname:Mortal Strike; x:83; bufftype:7; alpha:1; owntex:true; isResting:0; multiids:2; off:true; combat:true; size:0.28; y:170; texmode:2; inverse:true@ Aura[8]=Version:4.16; icon:Ability_MeleeDamage; buffname:Overpower; x:10; bufftype:7; alpha:0.3; owntex:true; isResting:0; multiids:2/4/7; combat:true; size:0.28; y:143; texmode:2; finish:0@ Aura[9]=Version:4.16; icon:Ability_MeleeDamage; buffname:Overpower; x:166; bufftype:7; alpha:1; owntex:true; isResting:0; off:true; combat:true; size:0.28; y:170; texmode:2; inverse:true@ Aura[10]=Version:4.16; icon:Ability_Warrior_DecisiveStrike; buffname:Slam; x:10; bufftype:7; alpha:0.3; owntex:true; isResting:0; multiids:2/4/7/9; combat:true; size:0.28; y:143; texmode:2; finish:0@ Aura[11]=Version:4.16; icon:Ability_Rogue_Ambush; buffname:Heroic Strike; x:-85; bufftype:7; alpha:0.3; owntex:true; multiids:12; size:0.28; y:143; finish:0@ Aura[12]=Version:4.16; thresholdinvert:true; icon:ability_warrior_rampage; buffname:Rage Dump; bufftype:10; isResting:0; PowerType:1; threshold:71; off:true; combat:true@

I had set up power auras to act as a rotational assist, showing only one icon for an ability when it is usable and the highest in the priority system. I have all of the different auras in exactly the same place since only one icon should be showing at any given time.
So far it works almost perfectly but with one exception. When a key is pressed to use that specific ability, the aura disappears immediately as it should. However if the priority changes and a new aura is displayed for the new ability that should be used, the old aura for some reason lingers around for another 1-2 seconds before it disappears. This leaves the old aura displaying behind the new aura for a few seconds before it finally removes itself automatically. Does anyone know why the old aura remains displayed for a few seconds even after the check for that aura turns to false? I've tried changing the aura animations (also setting it to have no animation), tried changing the animation speeds, reverting to the old style animations, etc. Nothing seems to have worked. The only other option I have available to me is to set the opacity of each aura to 100% in order to hide the old aura which remains underneath for longer than it should.

It's because we use dropdowns. The right click > set focus on unitframes is also a dropdown technically, and as all dropdown code references the same global functions those functions are considered tainted in the end.
Or something like that, at any rate. The workaround is for every single addon to stop using dropdowns or for me to develop an entirely new dropdown widget that doesn't incur the wrath of Set Focus.
