Hey,
I made an announce for Rend ability "Show when not active" and "Only in combat" but when I play as a tank, I dont want that announce at all. Is there a way to set it out somehow (eg: "only in Battle Stance") rather than turning the addon completely off while I playing as tank? |

auraIDs?
Could someone help me out how to check aura IDs? is that the actual name of the arua, like Cat Form?
I would like to show some *icons* in power aura based on stance of my druid. Probably I would have to write aura ids but When I write Cat Form that doesn't do anything. Tried to search on google and wowwiki.com but I didnt find any answers. Thanks in advance! EDIT: Now this starts to frustrate me I cant find ANY single topic about auraid. How could that be? I see only errors with buffs and auras, no auraid anywhere on the net. Huhh?!! O.o

zee water elemental and his freeze ability
Hi and congratulations for what seems to me as a very useful addon.
I am posting a comment to elaborate on my solution and maybe find some opinions on how to achieve a certain notification. I did browse through the endless list of comments here as well as on curse but did not find anything on this. Problem: I want a notification to appear on screen on action ready (the freeze ability from a mage's water elemental). After setting it up in powa it seemed to work ok. However my notification continued to appear even when my water elemental was not out. Checking the box "exact name" didn't help. So the solution that I found and that ?seems? to work was to create another aura that doesn't display anything but that is supposed to activate when the Water elemental IS NOT out and about wreaking havoc. And then I added the id of this aura in the first one (the one that notifies me about the freeze). Was wandering if there isn't an easier way of doing this though. Thanks for any insightful comments. |

Premade Aura's for Novices.
I realize that PowerAura's are all about customizing your own experience, BUT
a kit of pre-made aura's that more novice users can import - based on their class - and simply toggle on - to get basic usage would be really really nice. |

I have done it! I have found an easy coding fix to one of the more annoying bugs in Power Auras.
If a player is looking to show when an action is NOT usable (ie; on cooldown), and they have a timer next to it (so they'll know when it comes up again), the timer has the really annoying habit of flashing whenever the global cooldown is activated. My workaround is this. In PowerAuras.lua on line 4410, it says the following: Powa_Timer[k]:Show(); Change it to... if (Powa_Timer[k].value > 1.7) then Powa_Timer[k]:Show(); end This basically tells it to ignore any new cooldown which is 1.7 seconds or less. (For most classes the global cooldown is 1.5 seconds, while for others it's just 1 second. And I think it may be lowered depending on your haste). It will not effect any regular timer. So if a timer starts at 10 seconds, it won't vanish when it gets to 1.7. Enjoy! (Now I'm off to figure out how I can have cooldowns continue to be listed while I am mounted). |

Not working at all...help?
I'm probably doing something wrong here. In the activation window, I have it set to buff. In the name spot, I have the word power. The test shows the aura just fine. So, when I cast either power word:shield or power infusion, the aura visual should trigger, right? Nothing happens. Also, if I have the full name of the spell spelled out, then I should be able to check the Use own Texture box, and the icon for the spell should be use, right? If that box is checked, then there is no spell effect, even for the test. I can set the time to appear, but there is no aura. I have uninstalled and wiped the savedvaraibles.lua files, nothing is working. Please help me.

Any way to check spells just by SpellID?
I want to be able to tell the difference between Sacred Shield buff and proc, but Power Aura's treats them the same because they have the exact same spell name. Sacred Shield (Proc) http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=58597 Sacred Shield (Buff) http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=53601 I try to check just by SpellID, but Power Aura's doesn't let me do it because it needs a spell name with it. |

How do you solve the mighty problem with macros?
It tend not to be able to show when action is usable when i made a macro even putting it into another bar hidden by dominos #showtooltip /cast [nomod:shift] Shield Slam; [mod:shift] Shockwave; And #showtooltip /cast [nomod:shift] Revenge; [mod:shift] Concussion Blow; The problem is with Shockwave and Concussion Blow... I like to have them as action usable but they tend to fuck up when i use Power Aura. |
