Simple Light Data Text v9.0.2

SLDataText is a lightweight addon based on text based modules, which can be moved & customized independently or globally. It includes LibSharedMedia support for expanded font selection, and various degrees of mouse click interaction on various module frames. It also supports user-created plug-ins to expand on the module selection beyond what is included in this package. Plug-ins can be as vast or as tiny as desired. Included is are custom libraries (LibSL-1.0 and LibSLTip-1.0) that are used for module configuration menu management and interactive tooltips.

Each module can be positioned independently via dragging and placement can be fined tuned via the configuration menu. Fine tuning includes manual frame anchoring, text justification, X/Y value tweaking, and frame strata value.

Each module has an independent configuration menu, and the AddOn has a global menu to handle unified font types & sizes. The following modules are contained in this package:

  • NEW!!! Guild: Displays current online Guild Member count, and an interactive tooltip that allows click functionality.
  • NEW!!! Friends: Displays current online Friend count, and an interactive tooltip that allows click functionality.
  • Armor: Displays current overall gear durability value as well as a tooltip that provides detailed durability information. This module also has an auto-repair feature.
  • Bag: Displays remaining & total bag space. Click interaction toggles your bags open & closed.
  • Clock: Displays selected Local or Realm time, with options for 12 & 24 hour format(s). Tooltip provides expanded time information, and click interaction toggles both the Time Manager & Calendar windows.
  • Coords: A simple map coordinate display.
  • Currency: Displays currency of your choosing based on your "discovered" currencies. Interactive tooltip provides full currency list and allows for display selection.
  • Exp: Displays experience point information, including percentage & rest percentage.
  • FPS: A simple framerate display.
  • Gold: Displays current overall Gold in long or short format, tooltip shows session-based values (Starting/Current/Earned).
  • Latency: A simple latency display.
  • Mail: A simple mail indicator inheriting the stock MinimapMailFrame tooltip.
  • Memory: Displays current UI memory usage, as well as provides click interaction for manual garbage collection and a detailed list of AddOn usage.
  • Reputation: Displays current tracked Reputation. Utilizes Blizzards built-in tracking on the Reputation pane, "XP Bar" watched Reputations will be displayed.
  • ZoneText: A simple ZoneText display with PvP-Type coloration.
Be sure to check the Other Files tab for additional modules, such as Guild, Friends, and StatLine!

Usage:
/sldt[*]Help
/sldt config[*]Toggle drag & drop/configuration mode
/sldt global[*]Open global configuration menu
/sldt <module>[*]Open module configuration menu

Note: In drag & drop/configuration mode, you can left click & drag to move modules, or right click modules to open their specific configuration menu. The Global Configuration Menu has global options such as font & sizes that carry over into the modules, as well as profile options and tooltip scaling for LibSLTip tooltips.

Special Thanks: I originally wrote this AddOn a long time ago, and have taken extended breaks from WoW at which time suicidalKatt & snichols1122 both made contributions to keep the AddOn up to date and functional so people could continue to use it. I just want to give them a big "Thanks" for doing so, their efforts are much appreciated!

Nope, not at all. The current versions of those two plugins were just put in there so they would be included to round out the plugin assortment(s). There's going to be quite a few additional options once I get them finished up. This will include zone text coloring based on hostility, as well as a tooltip that will give some basic zone information on mouseover (such as suggested level(s) and main quest hub locations).

As far as the Ace2 errors, Ace2 has nothing to do with SLDT...it was rebuilt completely using Ace3 libs. Those errors may be in conjunction primarily with Abacus-2.0 (since it still uses Ace2). Try reloading the Abacus lib (or loading it by itself).
-EDIT- FIXED! All issues resolved. Much thanks for pointing out the guild fix, Taffu. ^_^

I run disembedded, but with no other addons using Abacus. I ended up deleting the Libs directory in SLDT and snagging LibAbacus-3.0 from Wowace. After that, went into Gold.lua in SLDT's Modules dir, and changed the "Abacus-2.0" Libstub reference to "LibAbacus-3.0". Logged in, zero errors.

I then remembered to check 'Show Self' in the guild options. Immediately saw a few guildies who hadn't been shown before, and working like a charm.

As for the Abacus fix, I wouldn't recommend it unless someone's getting errors regarding it and is running quite a few addons or updating frequently from Wowace. LibAbacus-3.0 relies on Rock instead of Ace2/3, which could break things for some people.

I've noticed something as well, try checking the option to "Show Self" and see if that resolves the issue. It seems when you hide yourself from the listing, it doesn't update the primary online table properly. I'm looking into it currently, and will try to fix that up. But for the time being, simply "Show Self" and it should correct the problem.

Two of those every start or /reloadui. The second is just the first line, no mention of AceAddon. I'm not sure if it's breaking anything, just a little annoying.

Also, the guild list seems to be inaccurate at times. No errors are thrown, but at one point about eight members were missing from the list. I'll see if I can get it to happen again and post a screenie.

Aside from that, I adore SLDT. I recently redid my entire UI after Fubar started refusing to display anything, and this is exactly the info I want. Mass props, Taffu.

Suppose you are using a non-English client right? If yes, wipe the SV, login (you still will get lots of errors but dont worry), bring up the options window, set the 2 global colors to what you want to use, and reload your ui using /console reloadui(or /rl if you have ace2 addons installed), they should be OK.

Hmm, that's odd. It should change immediately without any delay or lag in seeing the change. Client? Not using any other SL Addons that would conflict, right? (SLCore/Modules, old SLText or SLStats?)
Nope, I even removed the older version from both my interface and WTF folders before updating.

Ok I'll check Colors.lua and translate it if needed. Thank you !
You'll only need to translate the French client table, so down the list you're going to see currently:

Code:
["frFR"] = {
        ["White"] = "|cffFFFFFF",
        ["Yellow"] = "|cffFFFF00",
        ["Gold"] = "|cffFFD700",
        ["Green"] = "|cff008000",
        ["Brown"] = "|cffA52A2A",
        ["Red"] = "|cffFF0000",
        ["Orange"] = "|cffFFA500",
        ["Pink"] = "|cffFFC0CB",
        ["Purple"] = "|cff800080",
        ["Blue"] = "|cff0000FF",
        ["Gray"] = "|cff808080",
        ["Black"] = "|cff000000",

        ["Druide"] = "|cffff7d0a",
        ["Chasseur"] = "|cffabd473",
        ["Mage"] = "|cff69ccf0",
        ["Paladin"] = "|cfff58cba",
        ["Pr阾re"] = "|cffffffff",
        ["Escroc"] = "|cfffff569",
        ["Shaman"] = "|cff2459ff",
        ["Warlock"] = "|cff9482ca",
        ["Guerrier"] = "|cffc79c6e",
    },
They may be incorrect, as I believe I tried using Bablefish to do the translations (which probably failed). Just update "this" table and you should be all set.

I don't believe it's been translated in full to the French Client. Also, check the Colors.lua file's French localization...all those errors you're getting are in regards to the Colorization of the text via the Colors.lua file. If any of the locale info in the Colors.lua is incorrect, it's going to toss 100 errors at you in the first 5 minutes because none of the text can update.

Same for Clock.lua:651 and Framerate.lua:481, then I need to logout and disable the addon in order to continue playing. I'm on french client. I had SLCore and SLClock installed before but disabled them. I saw in the previous page of comments that someone had the same problem, but didn't really understand how to correct it. I almost known nothing about LUA and mods coding.

Thanks
