As you can see, this happens if you're getting completely silenced

Just to clear it out, i finally found a solution by adding some custom Bar-Background which covers up the bar, and the icon.

Was a bit of a Photoshop work and i had to change the maximum possible inset of the background but im happy with the result.

Just wanted to thank you again for your support

Ok everything worked out fine with parenting to the first bar now. But i dont have any idea how to work it around so every lootbar has a panel :/

I wanted to add a 1pixel border to the Loot icons so it looks nicer.

I tried to add some 'fake' 4th button to the bar having a black textur and acting as icon background which worked out, but only for the first bar :S

--Icon Border
bar.border = CreateFrame("Button",nil,bar);
bar.border:RegisterForClicks("LeftButtonUp");
bar.border:SetWidth(21);
bar.border:SetHeight(21);
bar.border:SetPoint("Left","UIParent","Center",-150,-64);
bar.border:SetNormalTexture("Interface\\Tooltips\\Icon_Border");
bar.border:SetFrameStrata(BACKGROUND);
bar.border:SetScript("OnClick",RollButtons_OnClick);
bar.border:SetScript("OnEnter",RollButtons_OnEnter);
bar.border:SetScript("OnLeave",OnLeave);

That was the code for that button, i added it below the disenchant button code and as said it works but only for bar #1

Only the first bar has a name, the others are nameless. You might be able to specify the height of the panel you're trying to anchor though, and fix it that way.

Thank you for your answer. Strangely "AzCastBarPluginLootRolls" didnt work in config mode (didnt test it in live mode though). Gonna try it out though^^ And find some way to find out the other bars' names :S

Thank you for your swift response, and I understand what you mean. It really is too bad, since most hunters have their shots macro'ed to toss in Kill Command and Silencing Shots whenever they're up since those aren't on the GCD.

Well I guess I'll have to live with it.

Thanks again.

"AzCastBarPluginLootRolls" is the correct frame name, but only for the first bar, so you might run into some issues, when the loot rolls show several items.

wizgoblar
The global cooldown plugin does not use a reference spell, because it will automatically use the last spell cast. I tested this addon on a shaman, so I've seen it work with a lot of haste and bloodlust etc.
The only time I've heard of it not showing the correct global cooldown, is from a bug where WoW does not report back the correct cooldown, when the spell was activated from a macro, I believe.

Global Cooldown question

First off, thanks a lot for a very useful and lightweight addon.

I have a question regarding your global cooldown bar. I wonder why it's implemented without a reference spell. I use this with my hunter, and with any kind of haste proc - bloodlust, quick shots - the GCD bar bugs, stops before the end and becomes therefore totally useless.

I used to have Quartz, but I remember that it did the same thing. Removing the reference spell for GCD seems to make it bug with any kind of haste proc. Any idea whether this is fixable?

Many thanks.

I have a question concerning the loot plugin. What is the Frame's name so i can parent some panels to it? I tried something like AzCastBarPluginLootRolls but it doesnt work.

I guess there needs to be some kind of number indication because there can be multiple bars?

Unfortunately item cooldowns works completely different than spell cooldowns, so it would require a lot of new code to be added, and as I no longer play WoW, I am unable to do this.

Gerep
That would be possible yes, but it's not something I'm planning on adding. But the code for this plugin should be so simple that you could try out and do it yourself.
Here is a rough guide line: Move line 82 up to line 50 or something, and replace the "GetSpellInfo" part with "spell".

Kulaar
Just looked at the code, and it seems this is actually an issue with how WoW reports the cooldowns, and not an issue with the plugin itself. So this is not something I can fix.

Global Cooldown Bar Bug

I didnt find someone already reported this bug.
So it seems like when a cast is shorter than the global cooldown, the gcd bar disappears as soon as the cast is finished.

Feature Request

I love the addition to the global cooldown bar to see the instant cast icon! Would it be possible to also put the name of the instant cast on the cooldown bar instead of the name, "Global Cooldown"? Or add to do so as an option?

Oh yeah, that's true. Funny how I actually forgot how my own addon works, there is no scale function, just width/height options, and true, they have no effect on the size of the buttons. I've added this to the todo list, so if I ever go back to my addons, I'll fix this.

Well, actually when i scale it the bar down buttons remain as big as they were before
