Mapster is a very simple world map enhacement addon, which was designed to work in conjunction with all other map addons out there. The idea to create Mapster originated from pure lack of a simplistic addon that only modifies the world map, without adding a full scale feature set.

You can access the Mapster configuration menu through the new button on the world map, as shown in the screenshot.
All features (except the style) can be turned off individually if you do not need/want them.

My comments are yellow, the script at the bottom of the map that has the quest info in it. Any way to change this to black as in your screen shot?

My mapster is i guess is overflowing out of the skinned background. the edge of the map is over the edge as is the quests section.

Small feature request. Can you add button on map frame to fast switch FogClear? It would be very helpfull when working on Exploration achievements.

Having the same problem here I had this addon with skinner and the background used to look black with the letters in yellow and I could see perfectly but now can't get skinner to overide the background look and the letters are yellow so I can barely see anything.
Help please.

Its Skinners fault, get them to update the Mapster support. I cannot support any outdated 3rd party skinning addons.

Hiya, very nice mod ^^ I do have 1 problem tho.

When I have mapster on, when I want to look at another map, it instantly puts my current map back. Like if I'm in dalaran or any other map, and I try to look at durotar or sholazar basin, it'll go to it, but a split sec later, i'm back at my current map.

Since I turned it off, its stopped :S

Is it possible to enable the World Map as 'original fullscreen'?

Also, as a request, would it be possible to put friends' and/or guildies' positions on the Map (like Cartographer does with Cartographer_GuildPositions)? Possibly as an added module.

EDIT: The map also seems to have some scaling problems with the dropdown menus (screenshot here). I believe they are the size of the original fullscreen version.

Instance maps for original WoW?

I notice that when I go into an old WoW instance (like Stockades, deadmines, etc), the map that gets pulled up just shows the current zone rather than a map of the instance, which I've always found useful. I use Atlas as well to get the map, but it'd be nice to see the "M" key work for it too.

You're using embedded libraries, which means that any performance data is totally inaccurate and meaningless; in your case, Mapster is (almost certainly) being "blamed" for the resource usage of all Ace3 addons. If you really want to find out how many CPU cycles or KB of memory Mapster actually uses, or are experiencing major framerate drops or client hangs and believe an addon is responsible, reinstall all of your addons with standalone libraries (and no embedded copies of any library). I'd suggest, though, that you simply stop worrying about the non-problem and leave concerns about the inner workings of addons to their authors.
