Would be also interested in any info on the "without any borders" thing. Actually on one of my characters it works, on another not. And did not manage to make it on that other character in any way.

Still no luck with this.. or with teh "battlemap" I can not seam to ge tthat to work either....

Enabling FogClear isn't working properly.
If I enable FogClear, my whole map is revealed despite not having visited some areas yet. I can't even set the overlay color or anything because no overlay appears. Even worse, if I enable FogClear, Uldum completely disappears. I've tried this with and without other addons running and the result is always the same. I've also reinstalled with the latest version of Mapster and I deleted the SavedVariables file in the process. No change.

The colorful shapes are from NPCScan Overlay.
Uldum is the only zone affected by the disappearing, but every zone is affected by the FogClear Overlay problem.

::edit:: Fixed after much confusion. It turns out this was conflicting with Zygor Guides' "Reveal Map" feature. While I can't fathom why I was having this issue when I disabled all addons but Mapster, I have fixed the problem by disabling that feature of ZG. I'll leave this up just in case someone else has the same problem in the future.

How do I get the minimised map to have all the unneeded gfx hidden (like in the 2nd ime "Minimized Map without Borders") Here is a screen shot of my options.. NOTE that the "Hide Border" (witch is what I think i need to use) is Greyed out... Any ideas? Thanks in advance --Jynks

does anyone know if there is another addon that does that?

or does the author plan to bring that feature back eventually?

Hi, congrats on this new version, it really works well.

The ONLY problem and the ONLY thing i miss about Mapster who i really loved over the years, it's the fact that Class Colored dots are not working on Battleground map. They are working on Minimap and Worldmap, but not on the Battleground map. I remember back in the day, they were working and i really can't do BG's without them.

I'd appreciate if u'll fix that, it's the only thing Mapster is still misssing to be the Mapster i loved.

fresh mapster install fixed everything for me.
remember to delete your saved variables too in the wtf folder.

Did not work for me .. I deleted all instances of "Mapster*.* that my PC would allow, too.

Interesting .. I use a custon UI called LUI, that was the culprit. Disabled its Map module and Mapster works fine now.

For everyone still having problems since the patch release, an updated version (1.4.1) has been released at Curse. I don't know why it hasn't been posted here.

I disabled all addons but Mapster and it still did it, I find that if you hit M then escape your map shows up and your UI comes back ... For now, Mapster gets disabled

Is there anyway to remove the quest panels from the right and bottom part of the map? i used to be abloe to remove it before 4.1 but not anymore.

I'm having the same problem, haven't figured out what addon interaction is causing it yet though.

edit: When I turned Tomtom off it stopped doing it.

I was having the same problem, but only on my main. I disabled Archy, since that's the only toon of mine that uses it, and Mapster (version 1.4.1) started working normally. Oddly, though, when I turned Archy back on to do some digging, Mapster kept working, so the interaction may be difficult to pin down.

Ok with the newly updated official one when you either hit M or the world map button it now acts as if you are hitting Alt+z and blanking your Ui.
